It is right at the north entrance to Itasca State Park. It is clean and comfortable and there is plenty of space. I love the cabin feel to the room. The back window looks out at a forest of pine, where we saw a large flock of wild turkeys one morning. Great location, too. Basically right next to the north entrance of Itasca State Park where we spent our time. After a long day of exploring & hiking, we looked forward to relaxing back at our room, sleeping in comfortable beds with A/C & running water. To us it was the best way to go “camping”. There is an ice cream/gift shop next door to our unit where we treated ourselves to ice cream cones. And across the street is a general store/gas station if you need to purchase convenience items. Loved the room to stay in for a couple days. We needed a last minute alternative to tent camping, and Big Timbers had a room available for us. Just a short distance from the North Entrance of Itaska- it made the family adventure much more comfortable and doable for us this year. Worked great for a family with young kids and 36 week pregnant mama! Loved it and would recommend!
