Clean, great floor plan, relaxing, fun

The house was perfect for our family size. Elderly to young adult could gather comfortably. Astounding cleanliness, beautiful view, game rooms in basement. Bring specialty and extra kitchen utensils. Bathrooms and coffee/tea service were well-stocked. Host was friendly and helpful.

Perfect location and Wonderful Experience

Our extended family of 12 stayed here for 3 nights and will definitely be back. The property owner, Yariv, was extremely responsive and the house offered so much space. The beds were comfortable, the dining room table fit us all, the beach was right next door, the hot tub was great bonus, the views of the water were stunning, and the dock for fishing was a highlight to the kids. Local marinas were a short walk away to rent a boat too. Yariv even took us on a boat for a day of tubing. Looking forward to going back again!

Large home great location sleeps the entire family

Fabulous time with the entire family, grandkids loved swimming and floating. For two weeks we all enjoyed kayaking and sitting around the fire pit late at night. Such a great location on the lake. Hope to enjoy again sometime. My communication with the owner was wonderful what a friendly and very helpful person.

Great location.

There is a little beach so the kids were able to walk in the water. The house is much nicer than it looks from the exterior. Our only issue was a fishy smell in the refrigerator.

Perfect Location

We rented this home for our son's wedding at the Club at Picatinny. We really enjoyed the location and the large common areas both indoors and outdoors where we could relax and connect. The toys and back and back and play were lovely for our grand kid. We felt a little cramped for sleeping space. The foutons would be appropriate for a child, but not nearly large enough for an adult. One was broken and not use-able. The provided air mattress was leaking and not use-able either. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless, The large couch in the living room had not been cleaned. It was gritty with gravel from outside.

Suggestion

We enjoyed the house but I wish that the deck furniture was a little nicer. The table was dirty but that could have been from the former guests. An upgrade to the actual furniture is suggested.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, modern, and spacious. The furnishings were spare but adequate. A great place for kids—plenty of games in the basement and a small property-owners' association beach in back.

Wedding weekend

Family and friends rented the two houses next to each other for our wedding weekend and it made it the most memorable weekend ever. Gorgeous sunsets every night and the house is beautiful spacious and clean. Located close to local restaurants and bars. Our friends rented a boat for a day on the lake. And the house has kayaks you can use.

Lake Hopatcong Beach House.

We all had a wonderful time. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main floor worked great for our elderly mother. The house was clean and the location on the beach was peaceful and memorable. My siblings and I played on this beach as children, great memories. Our host Yariv was easy to communicate with and very helpful with all questions. We’re looking forward to coming back again.

First family vacay at this location definitely won’t be our last! Beautiful property/location/weather; couldn’t have asked for more. Clean place w/most amenities provided, including fire pit and kayaks which our family loved. Handy that marina (we rented a boat) and playground were within walking distance. As a bonus, we watched a local parade. Kids were thrilled that the marchers threw out candy! 🍭🍬

Quiet Lake retreat with easy access….

The ad was appealing but when we arrived the location was even better than anticipated. The view was beautiful and the home very accommodating for a large group of adults. The homeowner was great and we would return again. Easy access to 80 which was so helpful. Great restaurants around Lake Hopatcong too!!!

Lake House

The host is a very nice man. He's upgrading the property bit by bit. The kitchen, bathrooms, and utilities are VERY well done and the photos reflect that. Location was perfect for us right on the water and next to a beach. We only stayed for 3 nights and were very busy with boating, visiting relatives, and going out. If we stayed longer, we would have appreciated reading lamps in the bedrooms and living room. We had a great time, and the absence of negatives insured that.

Excellent Holiday

We rented this for family staying over the Christmas holiday. Very clean comfortable house right on the lake. Really pretty setting, house is very well equipped and very clean. Yariv answered all questions answered right away he could not have been better. Since my daughter has moved to New Jersey we will be going back again. Perfect in every way.

Great location, perfect size for large groups

The home was great for our group of couples and friends. It was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with supplies for a weekend stay. The view and location was great, in the summer it is steps from the beach! It was the perfect house for our stay while we were visiting family in the area.

Beautiful property

Spacious house with beautiful views of the lake. The house was extremely clean and very comfortable and suitable for a weekend with friends. Many food options are a short distance away. The owner was very kind and communicative answering all our questions and checking in to make sure all was well, we had no issues during our stay.

Sunsets, swans, kayaking and hiking

The views and proximity to the lake were the best feature but the community beach, right of way and marina are between the house and lake. None of this curtailed our enjoyment just mentioning for others.

Great Lake House

The house was very clean and perfect for our stay. It’s located right near a small semi-private beach, so the kids had a great time playing in the sand as well as access to a slip for our boat rental. Power went out due to the storm but Yariv communicated very well to help us Get through it.

Just what we needed!

This property was great! The kids fished from the backyard, played in the grass, there was even a sandy area right there to sit and enjoy the beautiful lake. Everything was clean and open. Yariv was great! He answered all my questions promptly and was a pleasure. Hope to return.

We rented this house for a long weekend. There was more than enough room for 8 of us. We enjoyed the game room downstairs, the firepit outside, and the hike (liffy island) which was a short walk away. But bring a can opener! We were cutting open cans all weekend 🤣 I bet this place would be beautiful during the summer! Thanks for a great stay.

Spacious house with amazing views

We rented this great home for a family weekend with 3 generations. Having first floor bedrooms for the grandparents and separate, roomy bedrooms on the second floor for the younger generation was a real plus. Everything is new and very clean. The owner was easy to communicate with, responsive and accommodating. Really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here for a weekend with friends , it’s a nice all renovated and clean place, spacious living room, bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen with dining room, beautiful lake view. We got everything we expected. Owner is very friendly and helpful, easy to contact with any questions.

Clean place right on the lake

Two families with 4 young kids had a great weekend at this house. Our two most important criteria is proximity to the water and cleanliness. 1. Proximity: The backyard connects to the lake and a beach with a picnic table and bench. Water was warm and the swimming area was shallow and cordoned off from the boats. 2. Cleanliness: The house had clearly been recently renovated. We have usually had to spend some time cleaning the kitchen at prior rentals. This one was very clean and that allowed us more time to spend on the lake. Overall, a great weekend experience.
