Nice overnight. Property is nice coffee available for purchase on-sight( delicious) loved the pool, room was clean, the air conditioning was annoying as it turned on and off all night. It was way too hot to turn it off but unfortunately it kept us awake most of the night as it turned in and off every 3-4 minutes. Not a deal breaker still had a nice stay.
The location is Perfect!! Beautiful view of the lake!
Spacious room! Bed was Extremely! Comfortable!
Friendly staff!
Walking distance to All restaurants , shopping and Fun on the lake!!!
Good location. Close to everything. That's all about the pros.
Otherwise Inside of the room was worse than 70$ a night motel. Bathroom- sitting on toilet seat requires tact to avoid hitting head on sink. standing shower just enough to stand in. super dirty carpets. Private beach was awefull, 10steps wide and super dirty. Kayaks were additional $20 per hour, while booking they adv kayaks and not mention additional charges.
Window air conditioner... its a scattered thunderstorm system :) too loud. chose between sleep or cold air with a bang
Regret selecting this at $380 a night (no lake view room) and pass over Hampton Inn at $350/night.
Don't recommend and will not be going there again.

Good evening, Thank you for the response. We are sorry you felt this way, our buildings and bathrooms were built in the 1950s. We suppose everything was smaller then. Luckily, our bathrooms will be completely renovated in this winter! Unfortunately, we cannot do too much about our beach. The Lake Crest only owns 70 feet of lake front on beautiful Lake George. We wish to own more!We recommend choosing a lake front room, if you would like a lake front view. The standard rooms are pricey in the high season, these ones are Canada Street and mountain view. We wish you all the best and hope you find a hotel you will enjoy on your next visit to Lake George.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us. We work very hard to make everyones experience enjoyable.
Thank you for your review. We only have a 70 foot long beach, we wish to have a larger one! We recommend guests to visit the Million Dollar Beach if they want to access a large beach. Thank you again, we appreciate you!
We’re Very disappointed! For the money you pay to stay at lake crest I would’ve expected a much cleaner nicer room . Big time Outdated not like the pictures and with a 2x4 bathroom where there’s no hot water for a shower It’s Like on a cruise ship and if you’re on the heavy side forget about ! getting into the bathroom . We stayed in a queen room room “26 “ It’s our First and last time here !! So my issue was a Cold shower no hot water . I complained on the 2nd day and I got a “oh gee why didn’t you tell us on the first day “. And she Basically had an I don’t care attitude and just wrote it down in the complaint book . I told her that I didn’t say anything because you would think that they would know if they’re cleaning, that the shower doesn’t work right???? Anyways the first morning I had to let it run 10 minutes before it got warm not hot and I took a really quick shower . The next day no hot water at 4 shower after the pool . I hope this review helps someone to not stay there !

Good evening, Our rooms are adirondack cabin style. They are cleaned, sanitized and inspected prior to every guest arrival. The building were built a very long time ago, in the 1950s. We believe everything seemed to be smaller then. Good news though! Our bathrooms (in the standard rooms) will undergo a complete renovation in the fall and winter! Goodness, it is a shame you did not tell us sooner about the cold water. Our maintenance man went in to your room right away and changed out the shower head and made the water run hot again. We hope you find a pleasant stay some where in another hotel, for we wish you all the best.
First. When I booked my room I booked a room with two double beds because this weekend trip was my 25 year old daughter and I. Either Hotels.com or the hotel messed it up and there was one double bed. The hotel wasn’t interested in doing anything to make it right so I was forced to sleep on a crappy roll away cot. Which the hotel charged me $50 for. And to top it all off there was no cleaning service for the rooms at all. I seriously doubt I will ever use Hotels.com again and will never stay at the Lake Crest Inn in Lake George NY ever again
the room was only accessible by an outside stairway that was dangerous. the air conditioning was loud in sufficient, the room was dated and dirty . I requested to speak to a manager and about my concerns and nobody was able to talk to me . i left my phone number nobody called me. we decided to leave and go to the hotel next door. the fact that nobody followed up leads me to believe they could care less about their customers.
The hotel has a good location to the village, shops, restaurants and activities within walking distance. On-the-lake location with pool. Pool is small, but clean. The only complaint was the bath towels were kind of old and worn.

Room was clean just outdated. Staff was very friendly, location was wonderful.
Room did not have a bath tub with shower but only a stand up shower that had mold in tiles . Toilet was directly in front of counter which made for inconvenient use of the toilet. The room also smelled bad. I understand that these hotels in the area are old but I’ve stayed in similar motels along Canada street and while they are old the are clean. Specifically room 27 seems to be the room they rent out as a last resort as I did book only 2 weeks in advance . Staff was courteous but unfortunately were unable to accommodate a room change without an up charge after I spoke to them about the filthy conditions in the shower and the road noise overnight from traffic due to the close proximity to the roadway.
The buildings were adorable. I really liked all the wood and trees. The view of the lake was very nice. Parking was a bit tight but that’s minor. The ice machine was a little far but the walk was pleasant. The beach was very small but just to lay out it was good. Pool had perfect sunlight.

Disliked: Room comfort
The bed was very uncomfortable. It had indents in the mattress. The service was good until a worker got in trouble for talking to my family which I think its pleasant when they interact. Overall everything else was good.
Not clean, had lots of bites after we left, suspect bed bugs

Good morning, thank you for staying with us. All of our rooms are cleaned and inspected by our manager before being released for guest arrival. You would not have been allowed to check into a dirty room. We are 100% positive that we DO NOT have bed bugs. All of our mattresses have been inspected and are sealed with mattress protectors. I suspect that with us being in the Adirondack Park there tend to be mosquitos, spiders and insects in the outdoors. Thank you again.
