We enjoyed our stay at Paula & Brad’s house. Everything was as advertised. The view was beautiful & lunch out on the deck was great! Little fish swam under the dock. We were at a family event, so didn’t boat or fish, but wish we’d had more time.

This was an amazing stay. Very comfortable cabin, amazing location, beautidul views. Thia place was perfextly located foe thw day trips we did to Sica Hollow, Nicollet Tower and Foet Sisseton State Park. Well stocked kitchen, nice grill, amazing deck and comfy beds Thanks for a lovely getaway.

We enjoyed our stay. You have to pay and utilize the state park in order to launch the boat and you will have to take it out after each use, as you can't use the bay to access the cabin dock. My kids thought it was too weedy to swim so we also utilized the state park beach for that. Other than that we had a perfect time with great fishing.

We loved that it's on Roy Lake. Enjoyed the sunset every evening. We cooked our own breakfast, had snacks on the deck, and enjoyed sitting outside as much as possible. The beds are comfortable. It's the perfect size for 2-4 people. The deck is GREAT!

A beautiful, quiet cabin on the lake. If the weather is crummy you still have Gorgeous views of the lake, sunset and waterfowl. We got out on the lake in the paddle boat to explore the lake a little more. Kitchen is fully stocked (with kitchenware). Gocery stores are not too far away so it's pretty easy to pick up anything you may have forgotten.

Accurate description amazing time

Our stay was just a couple days which I wish would have been a lot longer. Our host Paula was above and beyond helpful with every little thing that was needed, if you were looking for something. The cabin had everything and more. The boys and I cant wait to go back the fishing on Roy lake is the best. Thanks again Paula for your hospitality.

Nice, clean, modern, adequately furnished. Later October, so didn’t use the lakefront but it is inviting. GREAT sunsets!!! Highly recommend as a base to explore the glacial lakes area.

Great lake getaway

We had a great time during our stay in the cozy cabin next to the lake. The weather did not cooperate the first night, as it was very windy, however, we were able to watch movies because they provided Netflix which was an awesome save. The cabin had everything we needed or could think of including a smores kit, which we took advantage of on the second night when the weather was perfect for a fire! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area and would recommend to our friends and family.
