The nearby village offers shops, restaurants, and activities including boat tours. Additional year-round fun can be found mere minutes away at SkyPark at Santa's Village. If you're willing to venture a bit further, try the slopes at Snow Valley after a 15-minute drive. After an eventful outing, make your way back to your scenic vacation home. Kick back and lounge in the spacious living area on the large sectional sofa and watch your favorite shows on the TV. The open space in the well-equipped kitchen encourages group cooking endeavors and its stainless steel appliances ensure you'll have everything you need to make a small snack or an entire meal. Indulge together in the dining area, or on breezy days, take your meal out to the deck to dine alfresco. After eating, bring the provided telescope out onto the deck and gaze at the stars after the sun goes down before comfortably retiring for the night. This home, like many in the mountains, does not feature A/C. The fireplace is unavailable for guest use Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. I heard about the hwy18 closure couple days before my trip. I emailed the property owner regarding the road condition around the cabin. No one responds to my request. There is no contact information on the reservation and it's very disappointing. When we arrived and found that one of the road to the cabin was closed. We have to try to look for an alternate route to get to the cabin. It was definitely not fun under the icy road condition and without signal. It took us an extra hour from hwy 18 to get to the cabin. Upon arrival, we found the bedding is dirty with hair and stain on the sheet. Only 2 set of towels are available for 5 guests. There were still unfinished laundry in the washer. The description "fresh linens" upon arrival is misleading and incorrect! We have to look for bed sheet cover to set up the pull over bed. We looked through all the rooms and finally found the extra bed sheet in the dryer. Our family left early on the next morning without staying the second night.
