Great location, amazing view from our room. It has a hot top and 2 pools, one of which has ocean views and has a pool bar. restaurant located on site, the staff of the resort are constantly cleaning and making the experience memorable. Lots of markets nearby, food truck market right next door, and a grocery store right next door. Even during a tropical storm the staff was outside in the slower rain cleaning up. Being a private unit at a hotel resort, the hotel staff seemed hesitant to help out and constantly referred us to contact our agency, which you’re only able to contact Monday-Friday during business hours. I also highly recommend purchasing travel insurance as they will not help out in the event of a tropical storm. (it is written in the fine print so more our own fault, just figured i’d warn people to buy it and not make the same mistake as us, I disregarded this in my rating) Our room the first couple days had a non working light but magically started working, and our front door constantly leaked water inside as there’s a small gap to outside. these were the only things holding me back from a 5 star rating, overall an amazing trip!!!!

1st time in Maui

We did not spend much time in the room, but the condo was nice and full kitchen had everything you could need to prepare meals, if you would choose to. Resort amenities were very nice and staff was super friendly. The view from this room was ok, but the resort has a great beach area. The parking lot next door had several food trucks each night, so dinner is super easy, with a variety of options!! I would stay again!!

The property was amazing. Location couldn’t be better! It was a little annoying that next door people worked play pickleball until late at night. But honestly everything else was so perfect, it’s hard to complain about it.

Low key resort with nice pools, pool bar and restaurant, shops, gift shop and convenience mart with alcohol, limited groceries, snacks, candy, protein drinks, all at reasonable costs. The room was at the farthest end of the resort. A map indicating it's location would be helpful. There was no pullout couch as pictured/featured. A new mattress is desperately needed. Also, a pizza cutter would be a plus. Overall, the studio met our needs, was clean, with extras like wake boards and beach chairs. The freezer also has an automatic icemaker which was quite nice. The Food Truck lot should also be featured along with local Time grocery store.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was comfortable although there was not a pull out couch. The evening we arrived there was a problem with water leaking so there were 3 maintenance people in and out of the unit while we were in our pajamas trying to get some rest after a long travel day. The coffee was nice but no coffee filters. We also thought there was in suite laundry as we were told about the 30 gallon water tank so to consider this while showering and doing laundry. All in all we still enjoyed our visit and love Kaanapali Shores!

This was a great stay; the resort was nice, budget friendly, and very accommodating to us. We arrived and determined our unit did not have a ceiling fan and the management company promptly brought us a fan to have throughout our stay. The unit had everything we needed for basic cooking. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Resort

Overall great experience and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Host was very responsive and everything detailed on the site was exactly what was available. Only request was that they have the flexibility to extend checkout to 11am; similar to my family and friends who also stayed at the resort.

We enjoyed our stay, the unit was a perfect size for a couple. The resort was beautiful and in a great location. The unit itself could use some upgrades- the curtains were difficult to open and close, the lighting above the bathroom sink was a little outdated. Overall great place.
