This listing is for “two” separate neighboring villas, which is perfect for a multi-family vacation. Luana Garden Villas is the final phase of Honua Kai Resort & Spa, located on the stunning Kaanapali Beach on Maui’s western shores. The listing includes one Garden level and one upper level villa that will include 6 king beds, 6 baths and 2 sofa beds combined to accommodate up to 16 guests. Enjoy your own luxurious, fully furnished private homes set within the Honua Kai resort. These luxurious villas are located within the 38 family-friendly acres of the Honua Kai Resort & Spa, designed with relaxation and memory-making in mind, offering guests an unmatched resort experience while proving residential living at its finest. These villas boasts over 2000 sq.ft of contemporary interior living space each with expansive western windows that open up to wide lanais, providing your family with plenty of room to enjoy the Maui lifestyle. Both homes are fully furnished with everything you need for a luxurious Maui vacation including a gourmet kitchens to prepare your favorite meals. The Lanais are equipped with outdoor kitchenettes and BBQ grills and plenty of lounging and dining spaces for your entire group. These homes include private garages and additional parking spaces and ensuite full size washers and dryers. Resort amenities include a network of swimming pools, waterfalls and children’s shallow pool, 24 hour fitness facility, Duke’s beach house restaurant, and Whaler’s general store and Spa. Please note due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, resort amenities may be subject to change or closure. TAX The State of Hawaii mandates a total tax of 17.962%. Excise tax is 4.172% and Transient Tax is 13.25% effective as of November 1, 2021 to be paid on all transient accommodations. Taxes are identified on the reservation confirmation (Subject to change). (The higher rate of 17.962% applies to all departures starting 1/1/2024 regardless of when the property was booked. Taxes are paid to the state of Hawaii and County of Maui based on the guest’s dates of stay. Any changes to the current tax rate will be charged or refunded to the guests depending on the increase or decrease. Could not have been more perfect accommodations for 8 adults (26-64) and our twin grandchildren aged 4! Our sparkling clean living space was perfection and the resort amenities were so beautiful that we looked forward to going back “home” every day! In fact, we canceled dinner reservations because we had such fun cooking and enjoying our balcony dining with stunning views! Above and beyond that were our gracious and personable hosts who were available 24/7\. I broke our glass coffee pot and a coffee cup due to wet hands/dropping. I reached out immediately to apologize and have them bill me for a replacement. Within 5 minutes I was assured accidents happen and not to worry and within two hours I had a new coffee pot on our front doorstep! There were 11 of us traveling together, and the accommodations were beautiful, spacious, with plenty of room for all of us to both be together, but have our own space. There were only a few times I needed to communicate with Roshy and they were quick to respond, and so helpful. We would 10 out of 10 recommend, to any size family. Our favorite part was that we could hang on the lanai, cook dinner as a family, and see the ocean all at the same time. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the showers were large and luxurious. We’ve traveled to Hawaii several times as a family, and these accommodations were the most up-to-date. The units were in perfect shape. They are almost brand new. The pools at the hotel were nice and we loved being able to eat at Duke's and have their Hula Pie almost every night. Communication was instant and always pleasant and accommodating. If you're on the fence, jump off and take the plunge. You'll be glad you did.
