If you have been to the Kapalua Golf Villas you know the view just inside the main entrance is nothing short of incredible and most people pause there to see it. This villa is in building 21 just to the right of that entry and shares the same panoramic ocean view on the top row of the complex. There are no stairs between the covered parking conveniently located maybe 30 feet from the front door and it is all on one level. With approximately 1100 square feet and one of the largest lanais, there is plenty of space to enjoy your ocean or sunset views while relaxing inside or out. There is a nice swimming pool with umbrellas and lounge chairs, one of 4 on property, directly adjacent the end of the building. It's about a minute walk from your door with a gas bar-b-q for poolside grilling. This Kapalua Golf Villa has been completely renovated and has one of a kind characteristics that "True Platinum Level Villas" are known for. One of the special features is a space alteration that offers an additional sleeping quarters about half the size of an average bedroom. It's just big enough for a twin bed and end table and room to change clothes. This extra space includes an AC vent, a ceiling fan and a window if fresh air is preferred. This provides the extra bed for a 4th person. If 1 person occupies the queen sofa sleeper totaling up to 4 occupants. The hall bath has a standard size walk in shower if there are guests or extra family members using the extra beds. The master bedroom does have a door that shuts off for privacy and includes a comfortable king bed with clean quality linens and warm exotic teak wood furnishings and accents. There is a blackout membrane attached to the woven wood blinds for ultimate privacy and those mornings when you want to sleep in or afternoon naps. The master bath has been altered to offer a small but deep soaking tub separate from a roomy walk-in shower, so those with mobility challenges can access the shower more easily. The entire bathing area is done in beautiful travertine stone with custom accents and a glass door allowing easy access to controls. It also can be shut off from the bedroom for further privacy. Alder wood cabinets and granite countertops with vessel sinks and Kohler faucets in both bathrooms add to the high end amenities. The kitchen has quality cherry wood cabinets with custom slab granite, tumbled travertine stone backsplash with a custom one of a kind stone art accent palm tree scene. Stainless steel appliances, custom lighting accents and quality plumbing fixtures round out the well appointed kitchen that most people claim has all the housewares and features they enjoy in their own homes. There are porcelain tile floors throughout with exception of soft quality carpeting in the living and master bedroom. There is a dining set for 4 in the dining room and on the lanai outside with the addition of a barista set for four and two loungers for stretching out and soaking up some Maui sun. The furnishings have a tropical flair including the sleeper sofa, new in 2015, and are up to date kept in good repair. We looked at many properties before booking this one and I’m so glad we did! It was very clean! The kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans and all y oh would need to prepare meals. The view is gorgeous! The landscaping on this property is well done. It was very quiet! While this is not beachfront property, you do still have a nice view and the walk is not too far for both Napili and Kapalua Bays. Both have nice sand and the snorkeling at Kapalua Bay is excellent! We saw tons of fish and sea turtles too! The property has beach chairs, boogie boards, pool noodles, and tons of sand toys and beach towels - super nice for families! Communication was great. The five nights prior we stayed at the Ritz Carlton as part of a group event. The final five nights of our stay were at this really comfortable and peaceful accommodation. It was really hard to relax in a hotel room. Having room to spread out with a nicely equipped kitchen and the expansive patio with incredible views was just what we needed. The beach "toys" were a great bonus. It was incredibly quiet and the master bedroom bed extremely comfortable. We hope to stay here again. ##### Monty B. We didn't have to purchase any extra items for 11 nights with two of us. Plenty of TP, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry detergent. Dave is a wonderful host and communication was top notch. We had a small issue with the Internet router being outdated and he replaced it himself the next morning first thing. (Now fixed) Kitchen is well stocked and plenty of extra seasonings, oils etc. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Cons: My only small complaint is I feel the master bed needs to be replaced. I would still stay again but Costco sells novaforms for a very reasonable price. In the end I plan on staying next year but a new mattress would make this place more than 5/5 stars. ##### Mike H. Stayed 11 nights in Sep 2025 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Shawn B. 2 Dec 2021 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### clean, quiet comfortable condo with distant view of ocean good communication with manager; comfortable furniture in living room; comfortable bed in master bedroom, except fitted sheets did not fit and got wrinkled and uncomfortable; twin bed in second bedroom firm and not very comfortable for adult; showers very nice in bathrooms, but tub in master bath is very short and not comfortable; washer dryer nice; good equipment for beach in closet; nice Tommy Bahama towels for beach; kitchen had only basics--no vegetable peeler; Nice machine for smoothies. kitchen and bathrooms and washer machine had plenty of soap, paper products etc. location is close to Kapalua and Napili beach, but parking at those beaches is very crowded and difficult, as well as crowds of people at those two beaches. Fleming beach easier to access for parking and not as crowded, but surf is higher and swimming not always available. condo has close access to small grocery store and good restaurants. Condo was very quiet during our stay but likely due to no guests above or below us. Last night of our stay family moved in next door and it was loud when kids were outside in evening late. ##### Shawn B. Dave was very helpful in the booking process and answered questions prior to checking in. It was beautiful. The views were great, and my kids (12 and 17) loved having mulitple pools to choose from. The master bed was super comfy, and no complaints from my kids about the twin bed or pull out sofa. It was nice having a washer and dryer. My husband had fun on the golf course. My ONLY complaint is that the condo smelled horribly musty/mildewy and drove my allergies crazy. I emailed Dave the 2nd day of our stay about it and got no response. We ended up leaving the AC off and windows open as much as possible every day to air it out, but that made it hot. When we got the check out text on our last day, I mentioned it again, and he said it was due to the condensation on the AC (which I already knew, thus leaving it off as much as possible) and apologized. The smell lingered our entire week in the unit. Maybe air purifiers would help. That being said, we would absolutely stay here again, and buy an air purifier at Costco on the way. :) ##### Brenda M. Well stocked modern kitchen & baths, ocean view beyond golf course, convenient shuttle service but need car for anything beyond Kapalua. It has a good, albeit distant, ocean view. Unlike some other Kapalua golf villas, it doesn't have much of a golf course view. Good for couples with second bathroom a plus. ##### william b. Kitchen was nicely equipped and the beach stuff was pretty good. The laundry was nice and helpful to have onsite. David was so helpful in guiding me through the various available properties to be sure we selected the one that worked best for us and he and his wife were readily available during our stay with any questions. The bed was extremely comfortable; the second bath was key to both of us being ready on time; the small half bedroom made a great dressing room and would be perfect for a child; there is tons of storage space including a closet filled with coolers, beach chairs and towels, etc; there was no need to purchase bath products as both bathrooms were fully stocked and the kitchen was very well appointed. The location is also great - great view, convenient to the assigned carport, both pools and of course you have the shuttle that runs through the property.
