It is the perfect place to relax, dine, sip cocktails, watch the whales breach and spout (during the winter months), and enjoy the sites and sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Sands of Kahana 315 has been beautifully remodeled with new tile, kitchen cabinets, new granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms, and stainless-steel appliances. This spacious, air-conditioned condo has an open floor plan with full window exposure to the ocean all along the front of the condo! The condo features Smart TVs in the living room and bedrooms and there is a washer and dryer available for your use. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and looks directly out to the ocean. The second bedroom has two equally comfortable queen beds with a spectacular view. A sleeper sofa is provided in the living room making this condo ideal to accommodate up to 8 guests. We had 5 women staying for a girls trip and felt like we had plenty of room. We spend most of the time sitting on the porch listening to the ocean and watching the sunsets and whales. The location on the first floor and right on the beach (a walk down stairs and around the side of the bldg) was perfect!! What an awesome lanai, with stunning views and sounds of the ocean. A great place to swim and snorkel. The resort itself is a little dated but we weren’t there for the resort amenities. There were so many experiences we wanted to have on the island. There are stores that are walking distance and Whaler Village is a short drive away. While it is a first floor unit, there is a basement level so the condo is raised to more of a 2nd level condo. We saw plenty of whales from the balcony! The beach was a bit rocky. Only minor complaint was the master bathroom shower drained very slowly. Communication with the host pre trip was great. The beds were comfortable, the view was incredible, water pressure was amazing and location was a walk to restaurants and a grocery store. The previous folks broke the garbage disposal and it was fixed the next day without any issues. There were thoughtful about waiting one day so we could settle in and fixed it while we were out. It is perfect for 2 couples. The amenities are above & beyond ...very soft , cozy linens, plenty of extra pillows, a solid wood sliding door allowing privacy for the master suite, a kitchen with everything you could need, a few TV's , lovely tub with water views, plenty of beach toys and a nespresso machine! The complex is a bit dated but the unit itself is wonderful. The Beach House restaurant is yummy for lunch and there is a good bar there too. We enjoyed our stay --wish it had been longer. Every morning I had coffee with an ocean view and listening to the crashing waves. My family of seven stayed and it never felt like we were on top of each other.
