Perfect place

Really loved our stay here, very clean, the location is great. It really feels like a resort, you have several pools were you can relax and it is right in front of the beach.

Slice of Paradise

Honua Kai resort is my family's favorite resort. The property and amenities are great and the condos have room for us all. Can't wait to stay again!

Favorite stay of the trip

We absolutely loved this condo. The location was perfect and the resort is great for adults and kids. The condo was clean and well stocked. Communication from the property manager was quick and they provided clear instructions for check in/out.

Fantastatic views and very clean unit, all at a very reasonable price in a top-notch location. There is a grocery store and some restaurants right across the street which is convenient.

Unit was fantastic, great location, clean, room had everything you need. The extra room was great for my teenager to have his own space. Only issue we had was a broken dryer door, but we made it work. I was told the replacement part has been delayed, otherwise I’d have no issues coming back again.

Family Vacation to Ka'anapali

We had a great stay at the Honua Kai Resort. The property is beautiful and very well kept. The room was well stocked and very nice. The free valet is a nice bonus. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking to vacation on Maui.

Family vacation

My husband and I stayed in this unit. It was perfect for the two of us. Very spacious and clean! We got ground floor units for our kids and grandkids. The property has so many amenities for all ages in our party! The grocery store and food trucks were so convenient.

Great stay for our family of 4

We had a wonderful time here. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. The living room area was roomy and we ate breakfast out on the deck with a beautiful view of the greenery and ocean. The owner was great to communicate with and would always respond quickly. Would recommend and stay here again.

Perfect for families!

We loved our stay. The unit had everything we needed and the resort is wonderful for kids. The water slide in one of the pools was a favorite for our kids. We will def. be back!

Beach Paradise

The property was beautiful. We were able to swim with sea turtles and snorkel directly from the beach in front of the hotel. My daughter loved the pools and the waterslide. The pool side service from Dukes was excellent.

LOVE THIS PLACE! We’ve vacationed in this area yearly for the past 7 years and usually stay at a “resort/hotel” and tried something new. This place was great. Extremely comfortable, clean, great location. We are already looking at coming back to this exact place very soon.

Fall break Vacation

We had a great stay. The condo is well equipped with all the necessities. The location is perfect. We had a view of the ocean and the mountains. Rainbows every evening. The beach and pool are top notch. We saw the beautiful sunsets every evening. The grocery stores and food truck malls are within walking distance. We are home cooked meals, food trucks, Dukes and at Whaler village. We got yummy cinnamon rolls at Papi Hana’s. Kaanapali and Honua Kai thanks for showing us a great time

Gorgeous apartment on gorgeous property

What a wonderful slice of paradise. We were very thankful for beautiful accommodations, plentiful included amenities both from the resort and within the unit itself and for the excellent location. Of course after the fires we were concerned about being so close to the areas affected (we didn't want to take resources or space from those who needed it) but we also were happy to be able to visit locally-owned businesses and get to know the amazing and strong people who live here. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The perfectcondo in Maui

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is perfect. It’s a 1 bedroom with a living room and a den. It would be the perfect place to stay with your kids, or as a couple. The bathroom was huge. The whole place was very clean. The condos grounds were gorgeous. The fires did not affect this location and surrounding, so plenty of restaurants available. Would recommend this place to everyone. We are now disappointed in the next location’s resort room, as this place spoiled us!

Great Stay Overall

Great place. Very clean. Parking is a bit tricky. Couple times had to wait 30 minutes to get my car from the valet. Have no other choice than to valet since parking garage is always full. Bare bones staff right now at the Honua Kai. All of that is understandable given the circumstances. Just something to keep in mind if you book in the near future.

Hunua Kai Resort #508

Our group was 4 adults. Two Seniors. The condo was clean, well equipped, very nice views, etc. Grounds were well kept and pools were outstanding. As with most places there are things unique. A code is used to access everything: parking, room, towels. The same code for each. To run the air condition, you need to make sure all doors to the outside are closed (they are sealed). Once doors are closed all is well. You need to wear a rubbery wrist band when on the grounds. Helps staff know if you belong. Dukes was great, bring your wallet. The staff was very helpful, if we asked (using text) answers were quick to come. I was worried about parking, not a problem (we were there in March) and parking is underground parking area and we had a large SUV. I would go back.

Great Maui Property!

Our family of four, including two kids aged 13 and 11, had an unforgettable stay at this Maui vacation property. The early check-in was a much-appreciated convenience that set a positive tone for our vacation. Highlights: • Location: The beachfront location is unbeatable. We loved snorkeling and were thrilled to see several turtles. • Amenities: The pools were fantastic and well-maintained, with a handy towel service. • Condo: The condo was perfect for us. It allowed us to cook simple meals, and the kids had space to spread out. Our 11-year-old enjoyed the pullout sofa in the living room, while our 13-year-old appreciated the den as a separate space. • Dining and Shopping: Duke’s was great and convenient for meals, and the lobby market was a lifesaver. We especially loved the fresh poke available on M, W & F. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Room for Improvement: • We’d love an actual bed in the den, as the pullout sofa was not very comfortable for our 13-year-old and woulnd't be suitable for an adult • Parking: Parking was occasionally tricky. One evening, there were no spaces available, so we used valet. The valet was late reopening the next morning, causing a stressful situation. After several frantic calls, a security person from another tower helped us retrieve our key, and we found the car on our own. This incident almost caused us to miss our prepaid excursion. Overall, fantastic!

Great stay in Maui!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 4 had a great stay in the Konea 508 at the Honua Kai.1. The apartment was spacious. It had a bedroom for me and my husband and two sofa beds so my kids did not have to share a room. We would have preferred a bunk bed or two twins in the den area because taking out and putting away the sofa beds was kind of a pain, but we knew that going in and chose it so at least the kids wouldn't have to share a bed.2. It was great to have access to a full kitchen and washer/ dryer.3. You couldn't see the ocean from inside the unit, but you there was a partial ocean view from the deck. The deck got morning sun so it was a little hot to have morning coffee out there unless we were up early. But it was great in the afternoon and evening.4. The unit was nicely equipped with beach chairs and boogie boards. 5. Check in was very easy with having a door code and just needing to check in for a parking pass.6. The pool areas were all nice. I just wish there were more umbrellas and/ or the umbrellas could be tilted to provide shade at different sun angles.5. The beach was great, the waves were not too big and my family was even able to do some snorkeling right off the beach. Beautiful sunsets6. We loved Duke's restaurant and ate dinner there twice and ordered by the pool a few times. Reservations book up quickly but there is a walk up list. We put our name in at 5:15 one day and we were seated around 6pm.

Wonderful Maui vacation

They loved the slide and waterfall in the main pool area. Great distance to the beach and Duke's Beach House! The valet staff was amazing upon arrival, during the stay and check out. The place was comfortable, spacious and loved having access to a kitchen during our time. I recommend this place to everyone. We will definitely be back!
