Lovely family villa located in a quiet road with no through traffic just 3 mins walk to Luz Beach and lots of restaurants and shops. Relax and dine 'al fresco' on the large sunny patio off the living area or chill out on the patio by the swimming pool soaking up the sunshine! The entrance hall has stairs to the living area upstairs, which comprises a bright lounge and dining area, guest toilet and a separate kitchen and pantry, while couple of steps down from the entrance hall leads to the 3 bedrooms, bathrooms and pool area. With a modern twist on traditional styling, the upstairs lounge is splendidly furnished with two squashy, comfortable couches and matching armchair, while the large flat screen TV, DVD player and music centre rest on a delightful white antique sideboard. A wood-burning stove has been installed in the fireplace which boasts a traditional semi-circular chimney. Contributing to the bright and modern theme, the large white dining table with seating for 6\. Sunshine streams into the living room through the glass doors that lead to a spacious veranda with blue & white retractable awning over a large table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ. Steps from the veranda lead down to the pool area on the lower level. Beside the living area is a new kitchen with an adjoining pantry. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and also an electric kettle, coffee makers, toaster, ample crockery, pots and pans and an iron and ironing board. Also on this level is a guest bathroom, with toilet and hand basin, while in a small alcove at the top of the stairs there is a simple, but useful, desk. On the lower level, a few steps down from the entrance hall is the family bathroom which has a bath with a shower, toilet and hand basin. The Master Bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, bidet, toilet and wash basin. The Master Bedroom has a 6 ft bed, fitted wardrobes and doors to the pool area. Bedroom 2, also at the rear, has twin beds, has a new en-suite shower & toilet, mirrored wardrobe and it opens onto a sheltered patio near the pool area. Bedroom 3, beside the main bathroom, has twin beds, mirrored wardrobe and it opens to a small terrace at the front of the house. The private pool features a separate paddling area there is lots of space for sun beds. There is free parking in the cul de sac outside the villa, although a car is not essential for guests staying here as everything in the village is within walking distance, and there is a regular bus service to Lagos and some other beaches, making it a great base for a family sun holiday! Dolphin & grotto trips and all watersports, tennis, riding and Golf are all available locally as well as zoos and waterparks. Lagos (9 km) has historic buildings, museums, a lovely palm-fringed promenade with lots of market stalls, a new marina, dolphin safaris, zoo and a host of choices for shopping & dining. ## Property amenities ### Beach - Luz is small enough to be cozy but large enough to be interesting. You can walk to the beach and everything else, and its a good base for exploring the Algarve. The house itself is as advertised - 3 beds and baths, pool, kitchen, laundry - good size and comfortable. But it's missing the small signs of care and thoughtfulness that (for us) make the difference from a good rental and a great rental. No salt, pepper, oil, dishwasher tablets or other basics that you often find. The bare minimum in terms of things like toilet paper and garbage bags. However, we had some issues with the villa and had to contact Clara who was very helpful. Priai da Luz is a beautiful place and perfect for a quiet holiday. The rooms were a good size and the walk to the beach was around 5mins. Lots of kitchen ware and cutlery. The TV was a little on the small size for the room but as most channels were in Portuguese it mattered little. Although the BBQ was on site it looked a bit flimsy so we didn't use it which gave good excuse to eat out more. Local shops and restaurants are close and the entire stay was great. ##### Andy H. Three women each having their own bedroom and bathroom! You can easily walk to just about everything you need. If you want a bit more action it’s a short drive away. The layout of the villa is great with loads of space and 3 bathrooms downstairs. The terrace upstairs is gorgeous with a large table for meal times. The pool is a great size and perfect for a dip with young children. The location of the villa is great too in a quiet cut de sac but very close to the beach and amenities that Praia da Luz has to offer. The only criticisms I could make are as follows. The ensuite of the master could do with being updated and the beds could all do with new mattresses. A great stay all round! ##### Claire A. Der Pool ist ideal für Kinder, um sich auszutoben. Zum Strand und zu den Cafes von Luz sind es zu Fuss 3min. Der Strand in Luz ist sehr schön, Felsenklippen dahinter mit verschiedenen Gesteinsfarben. Luz selbst ist ein sehr ruhiger Ort, in dem man alles findet. Wanderung entlang der Steilküste sind direkt vom Haus ab möglich. Gerne wieder. ##### Johannes H.
