Car hire is not necessary as everything is at hand, supermarkets, restaurants and café's right on your doorstep. The villa has stairs down to the front door. On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with a bathtub). Spiral stairs take you up to the airy lounge/dining room that leads out through double doors on to the veranda. Off the lounge is a well stocked, large re-furbished kitchen with all amenities needed and much more (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, among others). The guests can also use, free of charge, the swimming pools of Luz Bay Hotel, and on a pay-per-use basis, all their spa facilities and tennis courts. There is a parking space to the front of the property and a small garden to the rear. We both were amazed at how beautiful this area of Portugal is.
