The apartment is located on the first floor and is attractively decorated with modern furnishings. There is a comfortable lounge/dining room with air conditioning and personal WiFi. There is a well equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The double bedroom has fitted wardrobes and a wall mounted television. The bathroom is equipped with a bath, toilet and bidet there is also a shower over the bath. Towels and bed linen for the apartment are provided for your stay. Please note we do not provide pool/beach towels. The lounge area and bedrooms are all very light and open onto the full length balcony which is equipped with a table and chairs for alfresco dining and 2 lovely sunbeds to just soak up the sun. A private parking space is available in the underneath garage accessed by an elevator. The apartment is situated in one of the easiest locations for you to be able to walk to everything. A car is not needed unless you are wishing to explore further than Lagos. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops on the Marina itself and there is a large supermarket (Pingo Doce) within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. The nearest beach is Meia Praia, a 10 minute walk. Lagos town itself can be accessed easily via a footbridge across the river from the Marina to the main avenue this will also take approx. 10 minutes to walk. If you require the use of a swimming pool during your stay you can purchase access to the Marina Club hotel exterior swimming pool by the day. It is a 3 minute walk from the apartment or you have the very well equipped municipal internal swimming pool just a 8 minute walk from the apartment. Self check-in was easy and clear. Fantastic location, 5 minute walk to Pingo grocery store, and 10 minutes to old town, train station and the beach/ boardwalk. Bed was very comfortable, apartment was clean and kitchen well stocked . Washer worked great. Unfortunately we could hear neighbours voices throughout our stay and there was some construction going on in one of the other apartments. The living room sliding doors do not lock, and the bedroom really needs to have blackout curtains because of the marina lights. The larger sofa sags and a bit worn. A few things for others to be aware of. This apartment is in the back section of the Marina so while it is a 6 minute walk to the train station it is 20 minutes to the old town and bus depot. The apartment is well equipped and spotlessly clean. Only soap and couple rolls of toilet paper provided. Need to purchase laundry detergent, coffee, etc. We arrived by train and walked in heavy rain to the apartment; struggled to find it because cannot enter address into maps and the name of apartment block is higher on wall than rest of complex. It was light and airy with plenty of space to move around and spend time in. The furnishings were very comfortable and the cleanliness of the apartment was really appreciated and made for a relaxing stay. Much of our time was spent on the large balcony which was sunny and offered a great view of the garden of palm trees and distant marina. The car could be parked in the underground car park of the building and this was a bonus in a busy place. Supermarket and wine store couple of minutes walk away. The apartment had everything you need for a comfortable stay- it’s actually better than the photos. Plenty of storage, a comfortable bed and a balcony which is an afternoon suntrap. Great kitchen with a large fridge freezer which enabled us to do a big shop and keep some stuff in the freezer- just as you would at home. Good communication with Julie during the booking process and all information needed for entry into the apartment. We used the garage for our hire car and it having a lift really good when loading/unloading the car with luggage and shopping. All in all a fantastic stay and we hope to be back next year. The only negative point is that there was only one mirror in the bathroom which I noticed a previous review had mentioned. Thanks again Julie we will be back 😆 ##### Elaine D.
