To the right, some steps lead up to lge. mezzanine/den with two single divan beds. A small open staircase leads down to the livingroom and dining area and fully fitted kitchenette, including diswasher and washing machine. There is also a small pantry next to the stairs. The whole inside area of the villa is open space, except for the bedrooms and bathroom obviously, Because it is built on a slope, the accommodation is on three levels as described. Outside, the terrace with BBQ opens on to a rockery garden leading down to a lawn with a large pine tree in the middle, some bushes and small fruit trees. Outstanding panoramic views to the ocean, across the farmland fig and almond trees. Pathway to cliff and beach. The property is a small farm located on a protected piece of land, between the Boavista Golf Resort, and the ocean. There are three houses on the grounds: Casa Velha, the original farmhouse, family home not for rental. Villa Pocilgo, a charming and cozy 1 bedroom cottage (max. 4 occupants) with open fireplace, next to Casa Velha, with its own terrace and BBQ and sharing the same amazing views across the biological swimming-pool and the gardens, through fig and almond trees and wild fennel, to the sea, . And Villa Celeiro, a very spacious 2 bedroom split-level villa (max. 6 occupants), with mezzanine, its own garden with lawn, rockery and pine and almond trees. One can walk along the cliff path, after crossing the land, either left to Praia de Porto de Mós, or right towards Praia da Luz. The very large biological pool, shard by the 3 houses, looks like a natural lake and is a favourite with most children! It is also a great attraction for migrating birds... We were family with three children. I will say: the stay there was absolutely perfect. We could use the natural pool and had a short walk down to the coast. Apart from that, you were at peace and had all the rest one wants on a holiday. Due to the closeness to Lagos, there never was a problem with shopping or the bakery. Our family of 5 just returned from Villa Celeiro and we were so delighted with our choice. The location is perfect for privacy, nature and quietness but not too far from amenities, beaches and Lagos Centre. The house is located just a few meters from a cliff known as "caminho dos pescadores" - (Fishermen trail) which takes you to 2 wonderful beaches (20 minutes walk to the left and the same to the right). The view from the house and cliff is stunning! Really worth the walk!!! This is a place to connect with nature especially if you are looking for a restful time as it is away from the crazy buzz of the touristic madness. We found it especially good at night time when you desire a quiet place to sleep. The natural swimming pool was definitely a pleasant addition. Simon - our host - and Dona Ana were great and very easy to contact and connect. We also enjoyed Blacky and Dax, the 2 very friendly property dogs. Although they live in the same grounds there was never a moment we felt our privacy was breached. The house was clean and had plenty of space for the family. It also had everything we needed to self-cater and enjoy our stay. Lagos is a fantastic place to visit. Great food, clean, safe and very friendly people. Villa Celeiro is, as the name suggests, a converted barn with old beams, lots of charm and a smart and good arrangement of rooms. open concept of rooms over three levels. We all felt very comfortable and the hospitality and care from the hosts was just perfect. It could not have been better! ##### Maria K. Our little house was private, rustic and full of character. Location is idyllic. Property was private and interesting. Everything there you need. Bring cds and dvds if you like evening entertainment. We were content with the stunning view, pond full of frogs, dragonflies, swifts flying all around and the sound of the sea and crickets. Absolutely beautiful. Iryna the housekeeper is so lovely and welcoming. Definitely recommend this property to nature lovers who like to get away from it all. Need a car. You can visit a different stunning beach everyday. Thank you Ana (property owner) for all your help with setting things up for us. Nous avons quitté la Vila Falésia le cœur gros, nous voulions profiter encore de ce coin de paradis. Dès notre arrivée, notre hôte Simon, qui parle très bien français nous a accueillit chaleureusement en nous expliquant toutes les commodités de la Vila. La Vila est jolie, authentique et propre. La terrasse avec vue sur le jardin et l’océan est mon coup de cœur tandis que mes 3 enfants se sont régalés de la bonne eau fraîche et propre de la piscine naturelle. C’est un logis parfait en tant de canicule car le soir le vent se lève et rafraîchit toute la Vila ! Oui, il y a des moustiques qui nous taquinaient la nuit mais c’est la réalité de la campagne en Algarve ! Le site est facilement accessible, mais très au calme, à proximité du sentier des falaises, accessible à pied en quelques minutes. Le calme est absolu, à déguster au lever et coucher du soleil sur la terrasse. Les enfants ont bien profité de la piscine naturelle, très bien entrenue. La maison est bien agencee, fraîche, fonctionnelle, bien équipée. Le jardin est luxuriant et les différentes parties de la propriété bien espacées. À 20-40 minutes les plages sont intimes et tres préservées, mais à 5 minutes en voiture celle de Lagos est agréable et propre, plus fréquentée. Das Haus ist schon einige Jahre alt, hat enorm viel Charme und Potential, ist aber stark renovierungsbedürftig. (Erneuerung Fenster, Lampen, Deko, Matratzen!!, Küche, die Stores vor den Wandschränken, Wandfarbe) Bei Anreise war es im Haus sehr kalt und feucht und es hat einige Zeit gedauert, bis es warm war. Es war aber auch ein außergewöhnlicher kalter und nasser März an der Algarve. Das Haus wird mit Elektroöfen und einem Kamin (Holz selbst kaufen) geheizt. Von der Terrasse hat man eine wunderbare Aussicht in die wunderschöne, unverbaute Landschaft und dem wunderschönen Garten mit tollen Sukkulenten, Palmen und Mandelbäumen. Der Schwimmteich mit Sitzbänken sowie die dazugehörige Liegewiese ist wunderschön. Simon ist sehr freundlich und hat uns alles gut erklärt. Zum Klippenwanderweg sind es nur ca. 200 m. Bis Lagos 3,5 km. Ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig. Insgesamt ein schöner Urlaub, besonders wegen der Ruhe. Der Rest ist verbesserungswürdig, aber wir sind sicher, dass wird bald erledigt! ##### Ulla A. De belles balades à faire depuis la location. Accueil sympathique de Simon, sa maman, leurs chiens et chat.
