Guests can enjoy the fantastic swimming pool at Marina Club Hotel with a separate children's pool, beautiful gardens surrounded by olive trees and a plentiful supply of sun loungers. The apartment is furnished and offers high specification accommodation including air conditioning, flat screen TV in the living room and equipped kitchen. From the lounge, the patio doors open onto a large private balcony that receives the sun most of the day, overlooking the luxurious yachts that dock at this Marina. There is a table for Al fresco dining and sunbeds for relaxing. To access the main door of the apartment, you have to climb a ladder with 44 steps. Restaurants, bars and shops are within a 5 minute walk of the apartment in the area surrounding the Marina, plus 10 minutes walk takes you to the center of the charming town of Lagos, steeped in history exudes culture and heritage; the cobbled streets are a joy to explore, beautifully filled with cafes, restaurants and shops. One of the many beaches of the Lagos resort is just 8 minutes walk from the apartment with golden, soft sand that extends as far as the eye can see! This apartment offers the best of both worlds, the tranquility of the Marina and, just a few steps away, the lively old town of Lagos with many bars, shops and restaurants. Allthough the furniture and decor is a bit dated everything works perfectly and all issues were resolved within hours. The apartment itself is very spacious and clean and you have everything you need. The view is incredible and the parking in the garage was a bonus. It is a large space, with a/c and heat in every room, a small but nice gas stove, dishwasher and washer. Master bedroom is quite comfortable. The apartment itself is quite dated and could use a facelift in terms of furnishings and decor. There is no real sunshine on the balcony, at least not in the month of November, although to be fair, that may be different in the summer months. The owner, Luis, has a different set of rules for cancellations than the VRBO website states, which led to some confusion and stress. However, the owner is within his rights to make his own rules, and he did state them but they were overshadowed by the large print of the VRBO cancellation policy. This condo is on the top floor, so there are 44 steps to climb to reach it, but it was good exercise!! ##### Jackie C. The location of this Vrbo was perfect for us as it is within walking distance of many restaurants, the train station, bus station and the hop on-hop off small local train (which we used to get to Ponta da Piedade) . It was easy to travel to other areas such as Sagres and Silves by bus or the big train. The apartment itself was quiet and has a beautiful view of the marina. We loved having a spacious living area, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and use of a washing machine. We also enjoyed use of the Marina Club swimming pool! We also walked to the beach- opposite direction of town, the water was very refreshing and the beach is very clean. At night we appreciated the music at the nearby restaurants as we strolled by.
