Casa das Flores is conveniently located in a small urbanization 1 km from the lovely seaside village of Luz and is just a 10 minute walk to a lovely pool (Kinoah Luz) where sunbeds can be reserved for a fee, and the pool used at a reduced rate for those that enjoy a lunch at the Kinoa restaurant. From the living room, terraces and garden there are views of Luz, the cliffs, including the Black Rock, and the Atlantic Ocean. The view from the roof terrace is breath-taking. Casa das Flores is a very comfortable villa both in the summer and winter months. The underfloor heating and wood stove keeps the villa warm and dry. The garden offers total privacy. Layout The villa is all on one level, with the exception of the roof terrace which is accessible by an outdoor staircase. The entrance hall opens out to a spacious living room with a cozy fireplace for the winter months and a comfortable dining area. From the living room there are sliding glass doors out to a terrace and the garden area. The well equipped modern kitchen is adjacent to the living and dining room area. From the entrance hall there is all access to the bedrooms .There are two bedrooms with double beds and a third bedroom with 2 single beds. There is 1 bathroom with shower/toilet/sink and second bathroom with bath/toilet/sink. Also a third toilet. From all rooms access to the terrace with patio doors. Surroundings Praia da Luz Luz is located 1 hour drive from Faro airport. Luz is known for its beautiful beach and promenade, as well as the majestic Black Rock cliff. The beach is child friendly and easily accessible by car, or a short walk from the center of Luz. There are beautiful walks to be enjoyed along the coast and inland. The town of Luz offers many options for daily shopping, restaurants, cafes, pharmacy as well as a (multilingual) medical and a dental clinic. All are within walking distance. Lagos, 10 minutes by car, is situated on one of the largest bays of the Algarve. The picturesque coastal village Burgau is also nearby. Monchique and Silves are very worthwhile. Out and About with Children There are various outings to enjoy with children: Zoo de Lagos in nearby Barão de S. João, Slide and Splash water park in Lagoa, Zoomarine in Guia (Albufeira area) and the local indoor municipal pool in Lagos. Golf Golf courses Boavista Golf Club, Palmares Golf and Parque da Floresta Golf can be reached in 20 minutes. The Boavista Golf Club has an extensive sports center and spa area. Podiam e deviam melhorar muito a limpeza: dentro de casa havia muitas teias de aranha, areia nos sofás, as portadas das janelas estavam cheias de pó e teias de aranha e o terraço estava imundo: muita areia, muitas folhas caídas, teias de aranha por todo o lado e as almofadas das cadeiras e das espreguiçadeiras estavam cheias de areia e nódoas, enfim, uma pena porque acabou por estragar o potencial da casa.
