The space has a high-quality finish, with modern equipment and accessories, including satellite TV, underfloor heating, air conditioning, an electric window locking system, a fully equipped kitchen with Siemens appliances, and "Roca" sanitary ware. Our apartment is situated at the Baía da Luz resort. Architecturally, the resort was designed with Arab influences, in a Roman style, and is divided into three buildings, which form a pleasant feeling of an inner village. ➤ Please Note! From Oct 28th until April 1st, exterior paint works for all buildings in our condominium are planned. We don't expect a significant disruption for our property from these works, but want to be upfront about it \## Access The apartment is all yours during your stay. ★ Privacy and space ★ 24-hour reception ★ Wifi and television ★ Linen and towels are provided The leisure areas are set amongst stunning gardens and include: ★ Two large pools & one children's pool (shared and heated) ★ Playground area ★ Tennis court & multipurpose sports field ★ The resort is open all year ★ The adult swimming pool is heated all year ★ The baby and family pool are heated from May to October. The apartment is excellent for pensioners, couples and families with a max. of 4 adults & 2 children (due to the sofa bed not being suitable for adults). So please read it carefully before your arrival and let us know if you need anything or have any questions. \## Neighborhood Praia da Luz is a small resort town on the incredible Algarve coastline 10km west of Lagos. Praia da Luz, or just Luz, was originally a small fishing village on the edge of the sandy bay surrounded by cliffs. This sandy bay sheltered by cliffs is a perfect family beach destination. Although the town is now more of a holiday resort, it still retains some of the original features from its historical past. The bigger city Lagos is less than 10 minute's drive away, and in the other direction, you will find many small beach towns and breathtaking beaches. Perfect for family, beach and watersport (surf) trips. Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. It is located on the coast. You can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area. \## Transit You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours. In addition, you can walk into town and the beach from the apartment. Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can quickly get around without a car and plenty of taxis and Uber's available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life much easier. \## Notes ➤ Check-in time: 16:00-22:00 (late arrival possible in consultation) ➤ Check-out time: before 10 am ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS.
