Nestled along the coast, it offers numerous water sports opportunities, including surfing and sailing, making it the ideal location for all ages and preferences to indulge in a wide array of activities. \## Transit You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours. Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier. The air conditioning and washing machine did not seem to work during our stay and the maintenance did try to assist with this but we did not end up using the washing machine. (Not the end of the world though). Overall the apartment was clean and met majority of our requirements. Location was extremely quiet. The views from the balcony were just beautiful.
