The SuperEureka supermarket (550m.) and the huge department store and supermarket Intermarché (600m.) are very close, while the main town square in the historic centre is only 15 min. walk. Even Lagos' three most iconic beaches are within walking distance: Praia Dona Ana (17 min.), Praia de Porto de Mos (20 min.), and Praia do Camilo (20 min.). The Ponte de Piedade, one of Portugal's most photographed and stunning sea vistas and ideal jogging zone, is only a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute drive away. In short, the apartment's location is exceptional for any activity, allowing you to enjoy what the city offers. For guests with cars, there is an underground parking space on floor -1, a guest parking space in front of the building and ample parking space in nearby streets. The Boavista Golf range is a 6-minute drive only. \## Transit You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport; car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours. Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car, and there are plenty of taxis and Uber's available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier. \## Notes ➤ Check-in time: 4 - 9 pm ➤ Check-out time: before 10 am ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. Overall this was a good place with helpful amenities including a pool and gym. But there a handful of things that could be added to elevate the experience. 1) additional soaps, toiletries and toilet paper. Instead our group of 6 needed to go to the store and purchase these items. 2) more dish detergent, kitchen towels and dishwasher pods. As advertised, there was some construction nearby, but in our case that was perfect because one or two of our group love to sit down and watch the construction practises. The property is so walkable with grocery shops, the beach, restaurants, historic area, and Marina all in walking distance. When we noticed that iron and ironing board were missing, we reached out to the property manager and new ones were delivered to us. Check in was a breeze. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. With thanks from Canadians on our first visit to Portugal. This was the last leg of the visit and it was the icing on the cake. ##### Linda S. Unfortunately there's a known issue with the air conditioning and it wasn't working we were told at check-in if you have any issues to send a WhatsApp message called and WhatsApp multiple times with no response. Every night we slept sweating because we can never get the temperature below 76 finally we email instead of calling you whatsapping as directed maintenance came out and told us this is a known issue. Very disappointed considering how much we were looking forward to staying at this apartment we also found it odd that wasn't even a broom to sweep up. The balcony is really nice and location is ideal. We were able to early check in that day, which was nice because one person in our group arrived early. Cons: The apartment only came with small amount of shampoo/soap/toilet paper which was definitely not enough for 6 people for 4 night stay. We had to buy our own shampoo, soap, laundry detergent and paper towels. After a long international trip, buying basic toiletries isn’t our idea of fun. The shower drain was also clogged so it caused some water to leak/flood. I had to message multiple times and insist a lot before they finally sent someone out to fix it. Unfortunately Google maps location on VRBO indicated it was closer to Lagos which was annoying with 3 children and having to walk further to beach than we wanted . What ruined our stay was the construction site 10 metres from appt and pool area . Drilling and use of a crane visible from appt was from 8 am to 7 pm every day ( ex weekends ) which meant we could not use the appt as planned due to noise which was unbearable . It was so bad we asked to be moved , Rental company very apologetic but could do nothing but offer us a small discount . Would not recommend whilst this work is ongoing which could be for some time looking at the size and scale of construction . Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral, man ist zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten am Hafen. ca. 10-15 Minuten ist man im Dorfzentrum. Man kann auch zu Fuss einkaufen. Den Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage haben wir sehr geschätzt. Es hat viele Liegestühle um den Pool. Der Pool ist etwas klein, aber passt so. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und können es sehr weiterempfehlen. Wir waren eine Familie mit 3 Kinder (16, 18, 20) und mit 3 Schlafzimmer war dies optimal.
