A large family gathering or a related event this is the place for relaxation and fun. 6 Bedrooms plus 2 more closed rooms that can support air mattress guests means 14+ people can stay here in comfort. Home books for 14 but for a per person fee we can accommodate 16 or more. Available for Events for a Fee.

    This amazing home offers unheard of space and amenities. Sitting on 4 acres guests have use of the entire home, pool house, and pool just for you.
    Holiday plans? Our pool house dining tables can seat 18 for your gathering.
    Situated 1 mile from a major thoroughfare that takes you to all the best sights in Lafayette, this home offers great proximity and a secluded homestead to return to at night. Far enough from the city lights but close enough to reach all the best sights in minutes, the home is furnished to make you feel completely at home. With high end beds, mattresses, and a smart tv in every room we spared no expense. The home also boasts an unusually large swimming pool with a shallow section of 3-4 feet and the deep end of a full 15 foot depth. Its the perfect pool for adults and kids and the long hot summer means it’ll stay comfortable for months ahead. INTO SCUBA OR SNORKELING? The 15ft deep pool section is perfect for practice. And the pool-house offers a unique luxury. From pool to air hockey to darts to a gaming area all in a climate controlled area, this is the place active families will spend the most time. Want serenity? Relax by the pool on a lounger or read a book sitting in the rocking chairs up front. This is a TRUE retreat just waiting for you…

    The house, pool house, 2 acre field for play, and pool are all there just for our guests.
    The home has a full time resident who is the estate caretaker and he lives in the separate Acadian home on site. His house and grounds are secluded by privacy fences and screens to keep the areas separate. He remains unseen unless he is needed for a rare question or assistance upon your request. Otherwise the entire grounds are here for you and your family to enjoy.

This property was nothing short of amazing!! Huge house. We had a very big group with a ton of kids and the kids stayed in the pool house/game room. Most definitely recommend. The host was great!!

We came here on a family vacation. We had a great time at the home and visiting area attractions (swamp tour, Acadian village and the Tabasco tour). We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the house and pool. We also appreciated the quick responses to our questions and concerns. .

We were 10 adults and there was plenty of space for us. The living room is huge and has a big sectional couch, but it would have been nice to have a few more chairs in the living room to watch the football game...we just brought in the chairs from the kitchen table. The pool and pool house area was a great space to grill out for dinner and to play cards. If we ever have a big group coming to Layfayette, I would definitely book this house again.
