"Self check-in and out makes the service a little impersonal, but I get the gist behind it. The property itself is fairly new and clean. There is a need for more parking. Surrounding neighbourhood leaves a lot to be desired, but that is not the fault of the business. We did not necessarily feel unsafe and they do have 24 hour security on the premises. I would probably stay there again."

"Beck's Bed & Breakfast is a sweet jewel of a place in a remote region of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Refuge (a birder's paradise). Robert and Becky are warm, incredibly knowledgable hosts and provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of vacation stress and more tourist dense areas. If you love birds and plants and two sweet dogs you will love staying here. They had Christmas decorations galore so we didn't miss out on the Christmas spirit. We wish we could have stayed longer. "I've never written a negative review about a property but I rely heavily on reviews so thought I'd share my experience. I'll start off by saying the owner is friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, this was more a place to stay if you're looking for a very basic stay where you want to rough it. The room is super hot, the bed is uncomfortable and when walking back at night there isn't proper lighting. I don't recommend it to female solo travellers. I did not feel safe. "The location was close to the airport in a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s quite far from restaurants and stores so be prepared! It was a comfortable apartment and a short drive to the airport. We enjoyed a nice afternoon walk in the neighborhood; families were out strolling too and enjoying some backyard barbecues!!"

"I am glad I was able to end my vacation at the gecko bungalow. Michelle made sure that everything was taken care of with the multiple shuttles to and from the airport. The bungalow was an oasis and I was very glad to get to experience it with my first trip to Belize. Michelle and Scott made it feel like another home away from home.
