Lady Mary's Walk Holidays from £178

A little gem of a hotel. The cost of the room was much lower than any of the other hotels I stayed in on my week long tour of Scotland, but quality of the stay was up there with the best of them. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly, cheerful and helpful and the restaurant was excellent. My evening meal was very tasty and the breakfast was cooked to order, so all elements of the "Full Scottish" were tasty and fresh, unlike some other hotels who batch cook breakfast items and leave them to dry out under heat lamps all morning. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Bridge of Cally hotel to anyone, and would be happy to return in future.

The dining and bar areas are like many other pubs but the food I had for dinner was excellent, especially the chicken tikka with homemade paratha. The bedroom/bed was very comfortable with a coffee machine, which was a nice bonus. The bathroom had a great shower and bath with really good pressure and lovely hot water! Would certainly consider staying here again

Good all round

The grounds are absolutely stunning! The castle is amazing and rich with a colourful history! We stayed in a Four Poster room which was gorgeous. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. It was a truly magical visit.

My wife(78 yes old), became very ill.No one a the hotel could offer any assistance in finding medical help of any sort.We have left for the airport to get home asap.Iwas in the golf business and am often asked to suggest places in Scotland.Iwas born there.I will warn people off that place. Also restaurant service was terrible. They think it's beneath them and take no pride in being professional at what they do.Go to St.Andrews!!
