"Our group of 10 had a fantastic holiday last week in Sorède. The outdoor area was great, the pool area was super and would be improved further with a few additional sun loungers. We barbecued and ate outside each night and it was great. There’s a large outdoor dining table. The accommodation was very good. 2 good sized and well fitted out shower rooms. 2 kitchen areas which were spacious and well equipped. The cooling floor is good but the bedrooms were warm at night. It’s less effective than air conditioning, it helps to an extent. We’ve suggested additional fans to help with cooling the rooms at night. The rooms on the top floor were particularly warm. We walked to the town each morning to get fresh pastries and bread. Some of the walk is on the road although it’s mostly quiet. We found it a really good walk. The hosts recommended a bakery in Saint André, the next town. That would be more than a walk. There is a good Intermarche with petrol station in Saint André. There are some good but challenging walks from the property into the hills. Take plenty of water, it will be hot! We loved the beach at Argelés Sur Mer. The coastline here is stunning. We would recommend this property and the hosts were very helpful. Maria responded helpfully to any questions that we had both before and after booking and during our stay. "
