Gîte Aulas 2/4 Pers - LA Tieule

The Aulas holiday rental is located in Lozère on the Causse de Sauveterre, 3.5 km from the A75 (Exit 41). It is situated on the outskirts of the quiet and easily accessible village of La Tieule. Near the owners’ traditional Causse farmhouse—a typical farmhouse dating back to 1789 and preserved in its original style—the Aulas holiday rental is a former barn renovated using high-quality, natural materials such as stone, wood, lime-hemp, and wood wool. Perfectly insulated, it stays cool in summer (no air conditioning) and cosy in winter (underfloor heating fuelled by wood chips). A vaulted arch separates the kitchen from the living room; the windows let in plenty of light, and the furniture is both functional and pleasing to the eye. Spacious and on one level, it is accessible for people with limited mobility (PWM) thanks to its access ramp, easy navigation through the large rooms, and wide, tall doors. The high-quality bedding is comfortable: a 160 x 200 double bed and, in the low-ceilinged loft, two 90 beds. There is also a comfortable 90 x 200 pull-out bed plus a cot. The property features a TV, internet outlets, and Wi-Fi. With two wooden decks, you’ll enjoy having breakfast at sunrise while taking in a natural and relaxing landscape. Unwinding is within your reach. Parking is located at the foot of the access ramp. Just outside the farm, trails await you for beautiful walks—long or short—but always surrounded by nature. You can enjoy delicious farm-fresh products made from fattened ducks (pâtés, cassoulets, foie gras, etc.) sold on the farm, as well as many other local specialities you’ll find in the area. Here, fine dining is part of the scenery!
