Beautiful place overall! Everything was great including the staff, our room, the pool, the food...Everything! The staff was very friendly and attentive Mr. Oumar and his staff were the best! My only suggestion for the restaurant staff is to make sure that all customers receive the same type of customer service no matter what they look like.

Azalaï Dakar changed my view of hotels in Senegal. I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay. From the moment I arrived until the time I left, I was impressed by the professionalism and quality of service I experienced. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. But, as with any place you visit, there is always that one person who stands out and makes the experience even more special. For me, that person was Mbaye Dione at the front desk. From the reservation process, to my arrival and check-in, and throughout my entire stay, Mbaye was simply phenomenal. He was attentive, professional, respectful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of. What impressed me most was not only his professionalism, but the person behind it. Mbaye is a true gentleman and a genuinely good soul. I came to the hotel as a guest and left feeling like I had made a friend. If I were in the hospitality business and had an opportunity to hire someone like him, I would do it without hesitation. People like Mbaye are an asset to any organization. To the entire team at Azalaï Dakar, thank you for making my stay such a great experience. And Mbaye, thank you especially for your outstanding hospitality. I would stay here again and again. Highly recommended!

Breakfast selections were vast and delicious, nice spacious rooms. The chefs were so helpful and even provided a special requested dish.
