La Savane Holidays from £1,548

This is a difficult review. A snowstorm hit my area which caused my flight to be canceled. I called the hotel who refused any refund bc my room was unrefundable. Eventually the manager agreed to extend my reservation for two day. I was able to find a flight out two days later. The staff itself were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was clean. Housekeeping was nice as well. The view from my room was incredible but our balcony was shared with the others rooms. Meaning others could actually possibly look straight into my room. So at night I would have to close my blinds. The TV didn’t work at all and the AC didn’t work the last night of my stay (in fairness I didn’t report the TV). You really need a rental car to get anywhere. There is a beach within walking distance which was very nice. Hotel did have free parking but some nights it was difficult to find an open space.

Overall we had a fine stay, pool was lovely, enjoyed the beach front access, many food options and a little store. NOT the hotel for younger people, not a girls trip hotel. We came with a group in our 20s and entire resort was 60+ crowd, music at pool catered to old crowd. Service was not the best. Bell boys were kind but calling front desk was never a good experience. Our beds had no blankets just top sheets we had to call many times to get a blanket. Called for the bell boy golf cart to help us with our luggage at check out and no one ever came, one of the girls is pregnant and we had to lug our suitcases down to the lobby because they never sent someone. There was also no poolside service. We decided to do a day pass at the Morgan Resort and service was 100000x better, more comfortable pool chairs and poolside drink/food service. The Divi was adequate enough as a place to rest your head but if you’re looking for a relaxing, lux, young crowd and to feel like you’re actually in vacation Divi was not that

This was our 3rd time here and we absolutely love it!!! The rooms are clean, the beach is Preston’s and the staff is amazing!!! We absolutely love Stephen and Leroy at Seabreeze and Oren and Lou at Gizmos make our time there feel like we’re visiting family!
