It was very awkward having someone come into my bedroom to share a bathroom. Host's solution was to put our hand in the tank to try and flush. A built in shelf covered the tank so you couldn't see in the tank or get your hand in even if you wanted to. Later, the host claimed we flushed the toilet too hard. He was unable to solve the problem until after we checked out. Other issues-the garage door did not work, we couldn't check-in timely and had to buy batteries for TV remote. Ultimately, we got into a back and forth with the host where he suggested that somehow we caused the toilet problem. His suggested compensation was not commensurate with the inconvenience that this caused.
