The Legacy Grille is also located in the clubhouse area and operates on the weekends from November-May. The community is a 10 minute walk to La Quinta Resort and a 1 mile walk or short-drive to Old Town La Quinta. The Hwy 111 shopping corridor is a 5-10 minute drive and has every major retailer including Costco, Target, Super Walmart and multiple grocery stores. The Empire Polo Club (host of the Coachella and Stagecoach musical festivals), the Indian Wells Tennis Garden (host of the BNP Paribas) and the Shoppes on El Paseo in Palm Desert are all within a 15-20 minute drive. Palm Springs International Airport is 40-45 minutes from Legacy Villas. Additional desert attractions including championship golf, multiple hiking and biking trails and numerous spas and resorts are all within a short walk or drive from the community. Getting Around: Guests visiting the Coachella Valley can access a majority of the desert's attractions within 10-45 minutes by car. Ride share and taxis are available a majority of the time and are more readily available from November-April. Palm Springs International Airport is a 20-45 minute drive from most desert locations and Ontario and Los Angeles International Airport can be used as alternatives for air travel. Interstate 10 runs through the northern side of the Coachella Valley providing access to all desert cities from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego to the west and Phoenix and Las Vegas to the east and north. Mattress was so compromised that I ended up turning it over to the "hard" side, which was better, but still awful. Bottom sheet was like sand paper. Essentially this property was built 30 or so years ago and hasn't been touched since. Stains on dining chairs, wood cabinets are scratched and worn, screens are bent, toilet was malfunctioning. On the plus side, TV's were new and worked well and the leather sofa was comfortable. Unit is very dark..Just desperately needs an update. I would not recommend. ##### Julie C.
