Amazing condo style units.

Home away from home
If you just want to get away and vegg out this is the perfect place. Fully loaded kitchen just bring your groceries and your set. Lay out in the pool all day and then get back into the condo and fix some homemade food. Pretty quiet safe premises.

Great apartment getaway
The room was great and clean. Loved having washer and dryer in our unit. The pool was great for the kids.

Overall a nice place.
From what I gather, not all of the rooms on the property are managed/owned by the same company, which made identifying the property and our rooms a bit confusing. The codes to unlock the rooms were emailed to us before our arrival and were easy enough to use, however, perhaps because I'm a little old fashioned, I didn't feel 100 percent comfortable about this system. I know I could have changed the codes upon my arrival, but what a pain after a long drive and for only a one night stay. Also, the code for one of the rooms had to be re-set, which fortunately I discovered before we got there. As for the rooms, they were wonderful -- clean and comfortable.

Quick overnight getaway
First time staying here and will definitely use this place again. All of us were comfortable, enjoyed the shops around the hotel, and the staff was stellar. Impressed!!

Avoid!!
One of the worst experiences of my life. Sandy the manager was extremely rude to us and overall, she doesn't know how to handle the guests. Because she thought there was an extra person in my room, she charged my card with $400 without informing me and without proof that there was an extra person (which there was NOT.) It seems like she's the only one who works at the hotel which makes it impossible for her to attend to the hotels guests. Also, she lives far away and isn't there on weekends so forget receiving help from her. The estate was decent and the condo was not bad at all, it's just the staff and the management that lack manners and guest etiquette that ruined my friends and I's weekend, thus we are NEVER going back to this place again.

We're sorry you feel that your friend had a bad experience. The rules and regulations for the casitas are clearly laid out and communicated to all of our guests prior to check-in. Your friend were in violation of the number of guests allowed in a casita and admitted to staff that you had five people in the room when only four are allowed and you had actually booked the room for two people. The occupancy rule is set by the city and is strictly enforced. Your friend were also in violation of check-out time. Your friend was informed by staff that you should expect an extra charge for these violations.

Absurd Check In Policy and Rude Staff
Warning: This “hotel” does not have a front desk (or maid service)! When I arrived I quickly realized there was nowhere to check in. It took me awhile to figure out how to contact the property, as their number was not displayed anywhere. It took about 15 min of calling to finally get somebody on the phone. The girl told me that she would text me the room and keypad numbers asap. After another 15 min of sitting in the parking lot, I called her again hoping to get my room details. The same girl answered and screamed at me that she was “trying to text the info before I so rudely interrupted her by calling again”. Shocked, I asked her if I could just write down the info, as I had been sitting in the parking lot for 30 min at this point. She told me that wasn’t how things worked and HUNG UP on me! I waited 10 min, hoping for the text and then called again. This time a different girl answered and I asked her if I could hold and write down the info, she told me that would be a total waste of her time and HUNG UP AGAIN! At that point, I was scared that they were going to leave me stranded with no place to stay! Another 20 min passed before I finally got the text with the info and was able to get into my room. Without a doubt, the rudest staff I have ever dealt with a total absurd check-in policy. I waited an hour outside, trying to check in, while being screamed at. I would never suggest this place or stay here again.

coachella weekend 2015
Stayed here for four nights for coachella festival. Good value for money (considering coachella weekend) Customer service from Sandy and co was excellent both before and during check in . A little difficult to find as shares entrance with embassy suites hotel (who are not affiliated). Please note this is an apartment and there is no check in on site SO PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE EMAIL OR TELEPHONE ACCESS ON ARRIVAL AS THIS IS HOW YOUR ACCESS CODE IS GIVEN TO YOU.Apartment was spacious and spotless with all you required provided including smart tv and tv in bedroom .Good internet access. quiet and just over the road from old town where there were loads of eating places. a little drive to supermarket .la quinta itself was quaint and quiet. would definately recommend and would return

Short stay leaves us wanting more!
We were here only for an overnight stay. We came to attend the BNP tennis finals on Sunday. The location was beautiful - close to shops and restaurants. The unit was perfectly appointed and very clean and comfortable. We even took time to enjoy the pool! Definitely will return!

Great vacation spot
La Quinta vacation rental is not a hotel and there is no on-site staff. However there is someone available by phone and everything we asked for was delivered promptly. We only stayed one night but this is the perfect place to stay for a week. The room was fully equipped with full kitchen and after a trip to the grocery store, we felt right at home. La Quinta Old Town is right across the street with lots of nice shops and restaurants. I will definitely try this place out again the next time I'm close to Palm Springs.

Great place to stay while at the BNP Open
Great location to the Indian Wells Tennis facility. Mere minutes to get to the to\from the action. Lots of places to pick up groceries and supplies and excellent coffee place to get started just across the street. Unit was clean and very convenient to access without having to checkin at a specific time. Would definitely consider using this unit again in the future!

Good but ................. !!!
It had a digilock on the front door,and on the conformation e-mail,they omitted the code to be able to enter the condo.We had to wait for a long time to get in,although they e-mailed the number,they should have text it as people like me may not have an i phone.Also the lock became broken and they were unable to fix it,so the condo was unlocked whilst we went to eat.

We were here for a cheerleading competition and the entire team was staying at the hotel on the property for the same rate we go a separate room, complete kitchen and much larger bathroom. Very nice rooms

The room wasn't ready for 4 hours after check in.
The heater didn't work, had to sit in living room because the maid used strong cleaning supplies in the bath room. Poor light in bath room my wife had to use the light in the living room to put her makeup on. No instructions for DVD player, had to ask the maid to show us how it worked, which she had a hard time making it work. No Kleenex in the room. Carpet's were dirty. no elevervator, we had to carry our luggage up a flight of 18 stairs. It took 5 times to access the key pad for the front door to finally get it to work. ..... Room was supposed to be ready at 3 p.m. Maid showed up at 5 pm. Said she would be right back with clean linens and towels. She never came back. We called the office at 6 pm and a maid came 20 minutes later. Room was not ready until 7 pm.

Condo for rent, not a hotel stay
La Quinta Vacation Rentals is not a hotel. They rent out condos, which happen to share a parking lot with an Embassy Suites. We were confused by the name, as we originally thought we were renting a room at the La Quinta Resort (which is half a mile away). So shame on us, for not paying close enough attention when booking. The bad: The unit were stayed in had an overpowering smell of chlorine. We had to leave the front door open for several hours, and turn on the bathroom exhaust to lessen the smell as it was really bad upon arriving. No view as advertised - La Quinta Vacation Rentals said we were facing the golf course, but what they didn't say was that there is a 10-15 foot embankment that blocks all possible views of the golf course, unless you walk up to the dirt embankment, and peer through the chainlink fence at top, to view it. TV Cable - they had some Verizon FIOS cable system, which had 1000 channels to scroll through, but only about 100 of them worked. Pool/Spa - the pool is small, and sandwiched between condos. So expect zero privacy, as most of the 2nd story windows look down onto the pool/spa area. The Good: These condos have 3 rooms (1 living/kitchen area, 1 bathroom, and 1 bdrm), so there are much larger than the typical hotel room. Close to La Quinta city center - a short walk (1 block) away are a bunch of retail shops, a cafe, and bars and restaurants. La Quinta is about a 45 min drive away from Palm Springs

Nice weekend in La Quinta
Easy, convenient stay in La Quinta village near shops and restaurants. Keypad entry system bypasses any check-in time.

Wonderful place
Our time was wonderful. There was a leak in the ceiling the morning that we were leaving, but they sent someone over right away to handle the problem. They were much more helpful and prompt than the timeshare I use to own.

Very relaxing, enjoyable stay. I like to play golf but the 11am check-out time nixes any outing on check-out day...would be better if a later check-out time is available.

A good place to stay
This place is a little different in that there is no "front desk". You need to call a phone # to talk to anyone regarding your stay. but it does work.

We like this kind of setup, with the ability to make breakfast, etc. We really did find a dead cockroach at the entrance upon check-in. I tried checking out for the 2nd night, and while Hotels.com was fairly cooperative, it was a hassle with the property management. I didn't like having to make it an issue so we stayed. Wished they were more cooperative. The neighborhood is OK, but not in the nicest part of La Quinta. Don't stay here if you think you're going to be close to Palm Springs, because it's not. The only redeeming thing about the location is that it's near a resort that features a fabulous restaurant; so good we went back the 2nd night.

I did not stay at the Vacation Rental. I had to secure another hotel. There needs to be someone on site. I was not able to get the lock open on the front door of the rental. Customer service was truly awful. The location on the rental was not adequate. It was too far in the back.

MUCH better than any hotel room!
The place was lovely! High Ceilings, Fireplace, Comfortable furniture. Extremely Spacious, Clean and Quiet! A lot of extra's in the kitchen and bar areas. Even your own laundry machines! We were there for a wedding with family and it was the perfect spot to recoup between events. Kicked off our shoes and could really relax! Sandy, the resort's coordinator, was wonderful! Will definitely stay again!!!

More than a Hotel, better price
It was WAY more than we needed for just an overnight stay, but why wouldn't you stay here when the price was much less than a hotel that has less square footage/amenities? Gaining entry on our arrival was slightly unique but in a good way. We were emailed the unit # and lock code the morning of our check in. The door works via a number pad, not a traditional key or hotel room card. What was great is it allowed for us to change the code to our own personal code which adds a bit more peace of mind knowing that I'm the only one that knows the code (not even staff members, although I'm sure someone has an override code). Once we got inside the place was immaculate and modern. Central air that worked great, a full kitchen with all the plates, silverware, glasses, utensils and appliances you can imagine, a full size refrigerator,a washer and dryer, 2 HD TV's with Verizon FIOS (and a Roku on one), and the pool was nice too (small but did the job). It also had plenty of towels and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, etc) and they also provided 2 nice robes (we didn't use them, but they seemed nice). Like I said, it was way more than we needed for an overnight stay but it was like staying out in our very own vacation condo instead of a small hotel room with no personality. Would definitely stay here again if we're ever back in La Quinta.

Didn't know what to expect
We have never stayed at La Quinta Vacation Rentals before and didn't know what to expect, but condo was very clean and had everything you need for a week stay. Very quiet and comfortable.

Very comfortable
We were visiting our daughter for a couple days and just needed a nice place to stay. This place was amazing. Very clean and comfortable. The price was more than right. We had a full kitchen and bedroom. We couldn't get a motel room for this price. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
