Not only is Nanook’s Den exactly as pictured and described, it is even more comfortable and lovely. Yes, it is sparkling clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, but somehow it was a perfect warm nest to return to after a day of exploring Cape Breton. We spent 5 nights here, and Lynn checked in with us twice to ensure that we were comfortable and ask if there was anything we might need. She provided an excellent resource booklet of everything about the property, and even the nearby neighbor was friendly! Nanook’s Den is just a few minutes from the entrance to Cape Breton Highlands Park, so we spent nearly every day exploring the Cape Breton Trail and hiked 3 trails within the park. Per Lynn’s suggestion, don’t miss a hike along the Skyline Trail. The original Alaskan naive artwork throughout the home was just lovely.
