We had a great stay in this guesthouse. The guys were excellent hosts. I was nursing an injury from the the Camino and they were really kind and helpful. When we first arrived, hot and tired, we were greeted with a cool drink in the shade and we knew that we were in the right place. Tu has good local knowledge and helped with things like dinner reservations and fresh fruit from their orchard. We would definitely recommend this little oasis.

The check in machine didn't work so we had to phone the owner who arrived promptly. Good value for money. No frills but peaceful, quiet, clean and had everything you needed. Would happily stay again.

A wonderful stay at Le Cadran Solaire. Olivier and Fanny were very welcoming, prepared to wait for us arriving very late. Lots of tips about the area, good breakfast. The room was very clean and had all that we needed. Would very much recommend.

Very cute. Very French.

We needed a couple of rooms in this area for business . The hotel is easy to find, very quiet, adequately appointed. Comfortable bedrooms very helpful and friendly staff and wonderful breakfast and dinner. We couldn't have asked for more. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay. Pierre and Eric are incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and give us the best stay and are genuinely two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet (together with their lovely dog Pepsi) Their home is beautiful and spotless with a lovely garden. We were treated to the most incredible breakfast each morning with homemade jams, fruit, and speciality breads. Nothing was too much trouble and we were...

Stupendous rural location. Entirely walkable from the railway station and to various supermarkets/boulangerie although perhaps slightly easier with a car. Very approachable owners, together with a friendly dog. Pure chance that we managed to catch the owner early afternoon, because the official check-in was from 5 pm, but we had no knowledge of this because Hotels.com had not included it on their website! Very clean & clutter-free & definitely recommended :-)

Wonderful stay. Lovely place, great food, warm hospitality. Everything you’d need.

Beautiful chambre d'hote, a real haven. Lovely welcome and delicious breakfast. Just be aware that it is necessary to drive to find a restaurant.

Many things are very good. The location is near the river at Port d’Envaux Communication in English is a little difficult. We ended up with a large saucepan of hot milk to make our morning tea!

Very comfortable and very nice breakfast! Location is great for restaurants and the old town

Chris and his wife were amazing and so friendly.

We stayed at The Moka early December, the reception staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and spoke good English as our French wasn't that good. The double modern 'boutique style' room was relaxing with a very comfortable bed, a relief after a Campanile the night before...there was an area to hang clothes and a TV, a kettle (with tea/coffee) and bottle of water. The attached bathroom was very clean, modern, tiled throughout with a shower and bath. White towels renewed every day. The hotel...
