Chalet Victorina is an OVO Network property. It is a six-bedroom, four bathroom chalet for 12, with 232m2 of accommodation over two floors. The OVO Network team’s opinion - It's a 5km drive to La Giettaz, but just 1.5km to the lifts at Le Plan, where you'll find the closest restaurant. The interior of this home will take your breath away - recently renovated, the sleek design is straight from the pages of a design magazine. But there's everything you need to ensure you have a great holiday - a fully-equipped kitchen, cosy seating area, stylish bedrooms and bathrooms, a TV and games corner and a useful ski room. If you're looking for a stylish retreat where you can enjoy and active mountain holiday with friends and family, but without the noise and tumult of modern resorts, we think Chalet Victorina will be hard to beat. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. IMPORTANT: The property is in a protected environment and the running water is from a cistern with a filtering system. However, it is recommended that guests bring their own bottled water for personal consumption (no problem for showering/brushing teeth, or cooking). PLEASE NOTE: In winter a 4x4 vehicle with snow tyres and sometimes snow chains are essential to get to the chalet. Arrivals are not permitted after 8pm The chalet is situated off a public footpath and only accessible via a gravel track. In winter, it is permanently covered in snow. A 4x4 vehicle, snow tyres and additional chains (no snow socks) are required. The road and parking area located 300m away are cleared by the commune, but in case of heavy snow the final 300m gravel path to the chalet may need to be walked. In summer, the gravel track is not suitable for low-clearance vehicles. The chalet is in a protected environment and not connected to the municipal water or sewage system of La Giettaz; it has its own sewage system. Water comes from a filtered cistern fed by natural sources (fine for showering, brushing teeth, and cooking), but it can be very hard so bottled water is recommended for drinking. SECURITY DEPOSIT We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure. We stayed during the last week of October so there was no snow but to have the sound of the Jaillet River below the house and the spectacular view of the Aravis mountains was very special. We did the hike that passes by the house up to the Col du Jaillet and enjoyed an amazing view of Mont Blanc. Well worth the effort. We really enjoyed the balcony when the weather was rainy and for coffee in the morning. It is larger than appears in the photos. It was great to have all the digital entertainment (Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Apple etc) for our relaxation times. Bedrooms and bathrooms are excellent. Would definitely stay again. ##### Ian Z. Dommage sinon le séjour aurait été excellent. Superbe chalet mais équipé seulement d’une cuve d’eau de récupération des pluies insuffisante en été. Les travaux sont en cours pour régler le problème la prochaine saison d’été. Le gérant a été très réactif et nous a dépanné dans les 72h ce qui a permis de passer un très bon séjour malgré ce problème.
