L'église, qui connu les désastres des guerres du Moyen-Âge, fut reconstruite et de nouveau consacrée le 23 janvier 1524, sous le vocable de Saint-Barthélémy. La collégiale fut supprimée en 1712 et transformée en église paroissiale. Le caquetoir, auvent devant l'entrée de l'église, est fréquent en Sologne.
