"El alojamiento es fiel al anuncio. Es una casa antigua pero decorada con mucho gusto. Para mi gusto necesitaría aire acondicionado ya que es muy calurosa en los meses de verano y este problema no se soluciona con ventiladores. Su ubicación está muy bien ya que está a 5 minutos andando de una playa bastante grande y limpia. Águilas es una localidad que está muy cerca de calas vírgenes para visitar y también tiene muchos sitios para ver con niños."

"Amazing property and hosts. Sarah & Ian welcomed us and showed us around which was really appreciated . Situated in phase 7 of Mar de Pulpi the apartment has everything needed to make it a great holiday. The patio was well situated to catch the sun throughout the day and well into the evening. One of the many swimming pools was literally a few steps away and additional sun beds made it a great place to relax. Lots of local restaurants to choose from made it a perfect week."

"The property is modern and feels spacious. The two showers are a great size. The smart TV allows access to Netflix etc. The kitchen is equipped with most things you will need, there was no kettle and only a few coffee cups when we arrived, but Naddia soon sorted that out for us. I was a little surprised to find that neither toilet had a toilet roll provided, in other properties there's always been at least one. There's was none of the usual left behind condiments, hand wash, dishwasher tablets...

"We had a fantastic holiday in the house. The terrace and the view are stunning with a direct access to the sea. It is the perfect place to relax in a garden surrounded by trees in a very quiet area. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. The house was easy to find and the check in was quick. The hosts are very kind always available to respond to our request to ensure us a perfect stay. The house is a little bit old but it is very charming. Moonrise from the terrace...

Wonderful family holiday

"Villa Cocon was a sanctuary for all 12 of us, ranging from age 3 - 71! The villa was perfect with a plethora of games and activities for the children and adults alike. We have never been to this area of Spain, usually opting for culture over heat, so it was a different sort of holiday for us staying put and not venturing far! We visited the pretty local beaches, but having such a well-equipped and haven of a villa to stay in, it was blissful to stay, eat and play there! Many thanks to Carine and Romain for ensuring we were enjoying our stay. We absolutely did! "

A nice spot

"I want to offer my thoughts on this location. Would we stay here again? I think we would. The location is great and the home is nice. Pros: Luis and Majorie were great. Accessible and responsive- thanks so much. The space was nice, the location with the beach, the walkway, the park gym next door were all great. The decks were awesome, appliances all worked, we had Netflix. The home was clean and smelled clean. The bedrooms were dark in the morning although the beds were pretty firm. There’s a grocery store a short walk away. Coffee stuff was provided and the home felt secure. Cons: it was a bit loud at times with street noise and nearby construction. It isn’t stand alone and is sandwiched between 2 other properties which was also a bit noisy when they were working on one side. And the other side had a smoker (had to close windows so smoke wouldn’t come in) and the smoker would cough every morning until they left. Kinda gross. There were tiny ants in the kitchen- quite a lot of them. The shower downstairs is tiny which wasn’t great. The water isn’t great so you need to buy water. As I say, the bed was too firm for my liking. I was going to put the air conditioning down as a negative but it does work you just need to take the time to figure it out. A heads up- this is a 3 story home with quite steep and narrow steps. If mobility is an issue it may not be a good choice. Overall we enjoyed it and would likely use again if the opportunity arose. Moira birthday

"We were very impressed by all the staff couldn't do enough for us, we went there with friends to celebrate Moira's birthday. We had a few problems the air conditioning wasn't working so it was 27° in our room and very hot in our friends room also the jacuzzi bath didn't work. Some of the furniture needs tidying up. The big problem for us was the boat yard next door sanding a boat for painting was very noisy other than that we had a great time."
