The rooms, linens and space was very much ready for us to enjoy. There is plenty of space for a family to move about in. Its enchanting! One of a kind. The not so great issues were we tried to contact the property manager via the numbers provided and received no answer twice. For the price point the sofas were terribly stained (even a grandchild noticed) and not acceptable. The grounds outdoors have become very overgrown, deteriorated walls and sitting outdoors is not really accessible with furnishings, etc. There are a few cracks in the butcher board countertop near the sink which might make the dish area not as sanitary although the sink was clean and ready for us. I grew up very near to this location and was renting for my Mother's funeral so it was close and convenient as you might recall. However, my sister and family rented another rental in LaCrosse also nearby that you manage and own and she received a discount because of bereavement.
