We were there to see my son play baseball for the Loggers and enjoyed our "off time" walking to nearby restaurants, shops and ICE CREAM parlors. We rented this apartment for my son’s graduation weekend and it was perfect for our weekend stay. We had intended to have 5-6 people with us and ended up with 2-3\. This apartment was beautiful, just as pictured, and was in walking distance of everything we wanted to do while in La Crosse. It is directly above a wonderful bakery (red velvet cake was amazing). The only entrance is through the alley and is shared with the back of the bakery (We quickly got used to this.). After just having stayed in a house out of state where I had to purchase ALL of the extras, I greatly appreciated all the things that were provided in this rental (dish soap, shampoo/conditioner, hand soaps by all sinks, laundry detergents, seasonings, coffee, trash bags, toilet paper, ironing board/iron, etc.)! WOW! I can’t say enough about this! I think the ONLY thing I didn’t have was Saran Wrap for our leftover pizza. The apartment was beautiful in all aspects. We used the front 2 bedrooms; the beds were very comfortable. The master bedroom was huge with a full walk-in closet and bathroom. If I had to give one recommendation to make it even better, I would add one larger couch in the living room. If we all would have stayed here as originally planned, we would have needed just a little more comfy seating in that area by the TV. Right downtown which was so convenient to everywhere we needed to go that weekend. We walked and never drove. The city was magical at night by the river. The place itself was gorgeous!
