"We truly loved the absolutely remote location of Diana Dea Lodge – it’s a peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature. That said, reaching the hotel is a bit of an adventure: the steep, winding road up requires some confidence, especially when navigating the occasional oncoming car in the dark.
The lodge itself is beautifully designed, with warm wooden interiors that create a cozy and natural feel. The atmosphere varied quite a bit during our stay – it was very quiet on weekdays, while the weekend...
"This was probably a one-off situation that could have been avoided with proper advance notice. In the week leading up to our arrival, we received three notifications asking us to check in and pay for our stay—this was confusing, as I had already paid. Once I replied stating that I would settle any remaining balance at check-in, the notifications stopped.

"Bon... je reste mitigé. L'accueil tres bien. La chambre ( deluxe) est propre et spacieuse, bien équipée, bémol sur les terrasses qui sont toutes attenantes , pas top pour l'intimité. Le spa est bien, les massages sont de qualités. Gros gros point noir, le restaurant. Inutile de réserver ( chose que jai fait) ... table réservée pour 20h30 , ils nous ont mis au bar en dessous . "Gorgeous hotel in a quiet location, 2 minutes from the beach, friendly staff, on-site spa with great services... It's a little piece of heaven. The only thing I could see that might turn people off is the staff don't all speak English fluently, but as a French speaker myself, I found them to be very considerate and lovely. "Conveniently located near the centre of town, Le Juliette Dodu is a charming and comfortable hotel in a characterful Creole mansion.
The only criticisms to make are that the bar staff are somewhat amateurish and the food in the restaurant is very limited in choice and poor in quality by Réunion standards. However, on Sunday evening there is very little choice as almost all restaurants in the city are closed."
"Well appointed, clean and charming little place with extremely comfortable beds. Was a delight to rest there after a very long day of exploring the island. Sylvette (the owner) was kind enough to wait for me after a late arrival due to flight delays, but it is important to communicate with the hotel if you’re going to be late as the reception closes at 8pm (it’s a quiet, isolated and sleepy little town). All in all, great experience with very friendly, laid-back but courteous service. Many public amenities and facilities located within walking distance from the hotel and staff are happy to recommend them. "

"we were very happy in this hotel. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast tasty even for us - vegans/vegetarians, we especially liked the fried beans and daily potatoes in skin. Centraly located in downtown St. Denis just a few steps away from the ocean. Free drinks at the lobby were very much appreciated. Would love to come back ane day."
