Top L'Angle Bertho Hotel Reviews

Holiday Inn Express Saint-Nazaire by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is very close to the submarine pens in Saint Nazaire, which was part of the reason I visited the area. The staff in the hotel, that I interacted with, were all very polite, helpful, courteous and professional. The hotel was being used by quite a few marine engineers whilst I was there as the massive docks that Saint Nazaire is famous for are a short distance away, I had quite a few funny interactions with them so thoroughly enjoyed the fact they were there. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, some stains were on the carpet but this didn't particularly bother me. The bathroom was a shower only, my preference, a basin and toilet, and clean towels were supplied daily, the decoration was a bit tired but all of the fixtures and fittings worked perfectly. The room also had a small refrigerator in it, although there was no safe in the room, items can be stored at reception so I was told. There is a supermarket approximately 100 metres away and there are some excellent restaurants close by too. The car park next to the hotel you are required to pay for daytime parking only, so turn up after 18:00 and drive your car out by 10:00 the next day and it is free, Sunday is free all day. Do not lose your ticket as you'll be charged for a full day. Alternatively if you find a parking space empty on the street you can use that for free also."

Hôtel Spa du Béryl - Casino JOA de St Brévin l'Océan

8/10 Good

"Absolutely lovely hotel, nice staff and location amazing. Don't be fooled into thinking they have a spa/pool though. €25 per person for 2 hours use. People should know this in advance as other hotels locally do have pools for less money."

Best Western Hotel Garden & Spa

8/10 Good

"Location good so that was a big bonus, you could walk to shops, restaurants, beach & train station if you didn’t have your own transport. Had 4 parking spaces at the front of the hotel, we managed to get a space 100m away, plenty of others as well but it was mid-September- might be more challenging in July & August. Decent buffet breakfast, no plastic cutlery or polystyrene plates here! Had a terrace, plenty of space, we couldn’t tell from the photos if there were chairs you could sit on, on the balconies"

Les Cimes Bleues

10/10 Excellent

"A lovely hotel. Despite the low number of guests the hotel still had a great atmosphere. The two-bedroom ‘suite’ was really just two rooms with a shared outer door but very comfortable, great layout and nicely designed, beds amazingly comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent, beautiful bar in the lobby atrium. The staff were clearly very well trained on the ethos of the hotel and were superbly efficient but also very friendly. Hugely recommended if you’re visiting La Baule."
