"Arrived late to the hotel and would have missed the final orders of food but the kind girl Pia in reception read out the menu, i ordered and upon arrival i had my food. It was a very limited menu which i would say was the only downside (but my celeriac schnitzel was fantastic!!). However the hotel, room and breakfast was all perfect for my 20 hr stay in Oslo. All in line with other Hobo hotels i've been too... If Oslo was on my travel plan again I would happily come back"

"Great location just opposite train station. Walkable to most places. Tram stop just outside. Room was very comfortable. Only a small window though. Breakfast was great so many options. Pool facilities were really good. It's like a 5* hotel."

Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Bergen

"Excellent location, at the end of Bryggen. Right next to the fortress, museums, and local attractions. It can be a bit touristy in that area, but it goes with it, and everything in Bergen is very walkable. The hotel is modern, clean, tidy, friendly. All you could want as a solo traveller. It is a 15 minute walk to the light rail station that takes you to the airport. Floien (the funicular railway) is <5 minutes walk, as is the fortress. Top tip is to check in online before you arrive. It makes the process so smooth, you can flag any needs in advance, and when you arrive the process is to just get your keycards. Then, what this opens up is a much richer and more human interaction with the staff, rather than being side-tracked by form-filling. It is a busy hotel with lots of visitors from all over, and flight crews using the hotel too - so, the reception bustles at times, but the hotel takes it in its stride, and the floors and corridors with the rooms are essentially silent. Would definitely stay there again, and would recommend to family and friends. A good 4-star hotel in a fantastic city."

"Good variety of breakfast items to suit all needs. Coffee refill during the day at no extra cost a bonus. The staff were friendly and happy to give help when handling any queries. Good location. Room excellent, spacious and clean. Only issue would have is nowhere to put clothes. There was a small hand rail on the wall but otherwise mo storage. Otherwise excel t overall stay. Would recommend here."
