We arrived at the Utsikten hotel in Geiranger to find we had no reservation and they were full. It turns out that Expedia had made the reservation in a hotel of the same name in a distant city in another part of . Luckily we were able to find a room at the Videseter where we had stayed before. I cannot find this 5-night trip on my Expedia page.

Hotellet har følgende forbedringspotensialer: Rommens interiør minner mer om en offentlig institusjon enn et hotellrom, tiden er inne for oppussing. Restauranten må ha samsvar med det som står i meny, og det som faktisk serveres, bestilte håndplukkede reker, men fikk i stedet utvannede og vasne reker fra boks, det ble påpekt og bekreftet, men ingen avslag i pris el annet. Også veldig uheldig. Ved innsjekk en del rot med systemet, som visst slo seg av og på. Samlet sett var dette oppholdet noe under middels, og de 4 stjerner som oppgis ved bestilling fremstår som en overdrivelse av de faktiske forhold.
