The room was cheap, dirty and disgusting. The bed covers had more stains than I have ever seen before. The hotel staff speak little to no English. The pool was ok but not very clean. The walk down the alley was a little unnerving. Kuta is feral compared to other beautiful places in Bali. Wi-Fi was almost unusable. Bed had not been changed since last customer had slept in it. No drinking water provided. No fridge in my room, no door handles, the shower was hand held and kept switching from bath to shower. Mosquitoes in the room because of the open bathroom window with inadequate mesh covering. Only 3 lounges for the whole hotel and appeared that you had to use a bath towel around the pool. I ended up having to change the sheets ourselves. The manager could not do enough after that. On our second stay the room was very clean and staff were very clean. I realize we are in a foreign county but language is very frustrating especially when there is a problem. I also noticed there were large Beatles running around in the room.
