It's an old building, so I had some expectations, but the damp floors, dented wallpaper, and red-colored towels show how little the owners invest in the facilities. Particularly disappointing was that we asked for extra towels, but the edges of the towels that came in were separated. It was a misconception that they gave us that on purpose. There were a lot of hygienic concerns to use with children. A huge spread of food each morning with many different options. The breakfast staff was SO nice and helpful. They were immediately attentive and constantly refilling food. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, very responsive. The hotel is close to the airport in a great location for shopping or catching a taxi to the beach. The gym is the best gym I've experienced in a hotel ever before. The pools are gorgeous. And the room service is delicious and very well priced. We ate room service nearly every single night. It's also 24/7 room service so if you work late or just need a midnight snack, they're always available. Overall, a fantastic hotel, especially for the price.
