"The resort is located where jungle meets ocean. It’s more like glamping on steroid. If you are a nature lover like me, you will love every bit of it. My cabin/hut is right at the water line facing the ocean and the back is the jungle and the whole place runs by solar.
I got to know the owners of the resort Michel and Vincent, from Belgium. They are 2 kind individuals with the biggest hearts I ever met. Michel would host us every meals and Vincent is the main chef would cook us all the gourmet meals that you could imagine. The resort has hired all their staff from the village near by, and they are all kind and friendly. I wanted to drink coconut water and one of the staff just went to pick a coconut right from the tree and served it to me, fresh organic coconut water. The room is very basic but clean and spacious . The food was unbelievable delicious. Every meal was prepared with freshly caught seafood and local ingredients. The head chef is from Belgium, so all of his dishes were global cuisine. I never had a bad meal during my stay. It was like going to high end restaurants every day. I recommend to try the home made hot sauce that Vincent makes.
You can walk around the resort and enjoy the beaches there or there are lots of activities for you to do everyday like tour to Dolphin bay, red frog trail, sloth watching, snorkeling, kayak and SUB , Salt Creek village, turtle hatching.

"We loved Everything. The room, open to the jungle, sleeping under mosquito netting. Looking at the jungle while taking a shower. The common space with a virw to the water. The food excellent, but the staff was the best. If you are looking to get away from everything, surrounded by calming energy, this is the place for you.
And they do have activities that they can arrange.

"We stayed at a VRBO casita on Isla Bastimientos in Bocas del Toro, and it was one of those places that instantly makes you feel at home. The owners, Jeremy and Tessa, were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful! You can tell they’ve poured their hearts into this place. The casita sits on 100 acres of farmland that they’ve been building from the ground up, and it’s really special to experience something so intentionally created and cared for.One of the highlights was Tessa’s home-cooked meals (optional, since the casita does have a full kitchenette). She offers three meals a day, and every single one was delicious, often made with ingredients pulled straight from their garden or farm. It truly felt like farm-to-table in the most authentic way. You’re completely immersed in the jungle and wildlife, waking up to the sounds of nature, while still enjoying the comfort of great amenities.Location-wise, it’s the perfect balance of remote and accessible. Red Frog Beach is just a quick 5-minute boat ride away, making beach days easy, and definitely don’t skip a trip to Zapatillos - absolutely worth it and a highlight of our time in Bocas. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic, and memorable stay that connects you to nature and amazing hosts, this place is truly something special."
"Just returned from a fantastic 3 nights at Casa Cayuco with our family of 5. Everything, from the welcome and transfers, to the smoothies/drinks, fresh made meals with local ingredients, to the excursions far exceeded our expectations. We are a mixed Panamanian-American family, and Casa Cayuco allowed us to introduce our children to the most beautiful parts of this country. I have been to Bocas Del Toro several times, but Casa Cayuco has the strongest relationship with its indigenous neighbors of any property I have previously stayed at. We definitely plan to return. "

"We had a great time staying here with our two kids ages 4 and 6. The house is right on a beautiful beach with calm, shallow waters for swimming. We also took out the kayaks several times to paddle around and went on boat excursions to the Zapatillas Islands and a chocolate farm, as well as a tour into the village and surrounding jungle with local guide Calypso, which was a highlight! The house itself is spacious and well-appointed with incredible views from the deck. This is a more remote area of Bocas and Isla Bastimiento, so be sure that's what you're looking for when considering it, but it's great for those want a quiet, relatively private place in a beautiful area. There is a resort that is a short walk down the beach where we were able to get dinner, and others further down."
"Property is beautiful and perfect for a very quiet, low-key, rustic beach experience. It was a bit stormy while we were there, so water was very murky and not good for snorkeling or kayaking. Definitely bring your own food and supplies, as there are no stores there, and eating out at the two neighbouring resorts can become very pricey, and they can be hard to book. Sterling was very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions and requests, although we never saw him in person. Be sure to reach out and ask for what you need! Hilario, Sterling's employee was the one to help us, but the language barrier made it difficult to plan things at times. He did take us to Zapatillas and Coral Caye for snorkeling, which was a lot of fun. "
