Kure Beach Condo Next to Historic Ft. Fisher!

This lovely condo sits on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool and the beach which is 200 feet from your unit (I don't know how vrbo comes up with a 7 min walk, must be talking about time to get to the center of town in Kure Bch). This is a listing that is sure to please, I have set it up to rent to 2 adults or 2 adults with up to 2 children, if the third child is still small enough to sleep in the queen bed with you, that is fine. The unit sleeps four. Note that if you blow up the location map it is actually located in the second building from the north in this complex. This condo is directly next to Ft. Fisher state park and less than 1.5 miles to the NC Ferry to Southport, a great little town to walk around in and visit several antique shops. It also is about 1.5 miles to the NC Aquarium, everyone will enjoy this.
Kure Beach pier is about 1.7 miles away for some great fishing, good ice cream and a gift shop and game room.
The pavilion by the pier always has some type of entertainment going on during the summer, and the boardwalk is nice to walk and sit by.
The military has a small base here within walking distance open to the pubic with tanks, helicopters and various pieces of interesting equipment.

Kure Beach Stay

Our stay was amazing! The location of this property is amazing - close to the ferry, aquarium, and even the Ft. Fisher memorial. My husband and children are already asking when we can stay at this property again ☺️

The View

We had the best time at Gary’s condo!! The view could not be beat!!! The condo was fully stocked with excellent cooking supplies and a Keurig! Wish we could have stayed longer! The best is part was how you had your own piece of beach everyday. It was never crowded!!

Great place!

My husband, 2 kids and I stayed here. It was the perfect size for us. Right on the beach and so peaceful. Loved this portion of the beach since it is private to these condos and isn't packed. We used the fews days there to relax as we were traveling through NC.

Great getaway!

My daughter and I had a girls trip, this place was perfect for us. Listing was accurate, we enjoyed the pool and beach being steps away from our location. Restaurants and entertainment weren’t far either! The kitchen was stocked with what we needed, and the size of the condo was just right! We didn’t need to contact the owner while there, but communication ahead of time was accurate and perfect. We hope to return next season!

Great Location

We stayed at this condo location the past couple of years. This year we stayed at Gary’s place. The condo has a wonderful view and is located on a quiet stretch of the beach. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is nice, and the space is functional. I definitely recommend.

Perfect for our family!

We loved this rental! The location was great, incredible view of the ocean, I couldn’t believe how close it was to the water! We have two little kids (5 & 2) and it was easy to walk to the beach each day or run inside if we needed a popsicle or something from inside, it’s really just steps away from the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals. The shower was really nice too! The pool is great too and can see it from the balcony as well. Also loved how close it was to explore Fort Fisher and the aquarium. Would book it again!

Beautiful Beach Comfort

We absolutely loved this beach condo and it’s location. It was clean and comfortable. We moved to NC from FL about 5 months ago and we were missing the ocean. We picked the perfect beach to relax for a few days! We felt like we had Kure Bch to ourselves! Hope to come back soon.

Lovely property

We very much enjoyed the view from the balcony - right on the ocean! The condo was very nice and clean, which is very important to us. Host Gary was responsive when I texted and very nice. The unit's lock system was really easy to use & the pool was great. Area/neighborhood very quiet, just kind of far (2-3 miles +) from any restaurants. Thanks so much!

Great spot beachfront!

Cute, clean and comfortable. All updated appliances made quick meals easy. Comfortable queen size bed and two bunks, spotless shower and plenty of living space. Third floor balcony overlooking pool and ocean. Thank you for a great week.

Clean condo and nice beach

This condo looks and feels clean, not just the bare minimum that some condos maintain. Loved the porch and view and it had the basics we needed. The top bunk does have a rail and ladder now thankfully. We were very comfortable and would come back again!

Beach rental perfect for small family

This condo is in an ideal location to experience the natural areas and activities of Ft. Fisher, Kure and Carolina Beach. The condo and complex were clean and the condo had everything we needed. Our teenage daughter enjoyed the bunk beds and also sleeping on the roomy couch, which I believe was actually a sleeper sofa. It was a lovely vacation and we look forward to staying in this property again.

Perfect Vacation

This condo was amazing. The view from the balcony was awesome. Being able to hear the sound of the ocean from the bedroom, well that was amazing too. Verg quiet and non crowded area, which is what we wanted. Condo was clean and kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. If I had to say one thing about it, that is a little negative is the pressure in the shower, but its okay. Great place and Mr. Gary was quick with communication which is always great. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful condo with us. We enjoyed it so much and would love to come back!!

We loved the condo & area, well stocked,surprised on how bad the beach corrosion was, disappointed in how unclean it was left for us upon our arrival. Nasty shower,dirty kitchen counters,sandy floors, hadn't been vacuumed. It seems it should be inspected between renters especially with Covid.

Excellent Condo & Property

We had an amazing time staying in this condo/property. The condo was very clean when we arrived and ready for us to use. The kitchen had all of the things we needed to eat there (dishes, pots, pans, etc.). The kids really enjoyed the bunk beds and said they were comfortable. The location of this condo was really nice as it was the last property on the beach - it was not too crowded and we could easily space out from the others who were vacationing there. The beach chairs that are in the condo were so nice to have! The only negative thing about the stay was that the first couple of days we were there the pool was pretty dirty. There was a sheen (probably from all the sunscreen people were wearing) and chunks of hair floating in it, which was really gross. However, the third day we were there someone came in and cleaned the pool and it was much much better for the remainder of our stay. Everything about the unit itself was perfect! We'd recommend staying here to anyone and would consider it again in the future.

Great location, cozy stay.

We had a great time, as usual. We've rented at yhe Riggings for the past 3 years now and always enjoy ourselves being so close to the beach. The inaide of the aprtment was clean and cozy and had the basic needs like TP. No towels and sheets but that was on the listing. Couple minor cons. The ac unit in the closet sounds like a leaky pipe whenever the a/c is running. This was loud enough for me to notice when listening to the sounds of water, but only sometimes. The balcony out back didnt really have the type of furniture you would expect, just lounge chairs and a foldavle mini table but disnt sit high enough to reLly look over the rail. Lastly the bed. You need to enjoy a super sinking bed as both me and my fiance did not sleep very well coming from a memory foam mattress. This was probably the biggest drawback. I still give 5 stars because i just love the location and other than the vastly uncomfortable bed we all had a great time
