Amazing place with great views and very nice host
We have stayed in the Villa Bali for 9 nights and we had a great experience. The villa has everything one could need. The swimming pool was clean and spacious. The location is in a beautiful area and we have enjoyed the views over the horizon.
The host, Pat, was very helpful and made us feel at home. We feel we made a friend for life. We would definitely come back. This is a place to remember and recommend.

paradijsje

Perfect!!
We had a wonderful time at Villa Bali!! The views from the villa were spectacular!! The view as the backdrop to the pool was just perfect. And with it being a West facing property, we had a beautiful sunset every night!! Patrick, the owner is great!! He’s a super cool, laid back host! We felt so welcomed and he was ready to meet any need/request we had. We loved all the activities we did on the island, but truly we just couldn’t wait to get back to our little “home away from home.” In the mornings we so enjoyed the bush right in front of our patio. It is covered with little purple flowers that attract many, many hummingbirds and butterflies. The trees that surround the villa are filled with songbirds, such a peaceful sound to wake up to. Inside the décor is fresh and bright. We liked the uncluttered feel, but yet it had everything we needed. Nice good-sized fridge. The sleek modern fans were very effective but also very quiet. Beautiful breezes came through the screened windows. We only used the air conditioner in the bedroom at night. We closed the bedroom door to keep it contained. It too was very quiet. Most people may not even need the air conditioner, but we’re just used to sleeping with it being a little cool. But as soon as we woke up, we turned it off, and opened the windows to hear the songbirds. The bed is super comfy!! We slept so well!! The island does get very busy with all the cruise ship crowds’ excursions especially mid-week when there are two huge ships at port. But Bonaire is not an overnight stop, so the crowds start to return to their ships early afternoon. And there are no ships in port on Sundays. We enjoyed our mornings at the villa, so we just took our time and got to the popular spots later in the afternoon. On the day we went to “1000 Steps”, we got there about 3:00pm. The sun was less intense and there were maybe only 2 other couples there. If you do the national park though, get there very early, you will need the whole day for that and an all terrain vehicle is a must for the dirt roads in the park. It was a great vacation!!
