The property was nice, but there were a few things that could have been better. First, the pools close at dark. No swimming past 6ish… Second, the whole dive setup is not very cohesive. You have to go into the shop to purchase dives, then drive around to the other side of the resort to get the weights and tanks, then drive back to where you started to dive. It really all needs to be in the same place. Third, they do not have any lights on their pier. It’s not very conducive to night diving. The staff was ok. No one was per se rude, but they weren’t exactly nice either. Last, out of 3 couples, they tried to charge for the rooms again at checkout. The rooms were all paid prior to arriving. The rooms were clean, they had provided all the necessary utensils for cooking. All in all, it was a nice place to stay, but I’d like to stay somewhere we can hang out at the pool in the evening. I’d call around and see if this is just a Delphin’s rule or an island rule.

Overall - one of the best resorts we’ve stayed in. This is a newly built place and they did fabulous job turning barren land into tropical paradise. Everything is very well maintained and taken care of. There are three pools, two breast-deep and one for kids. One pool is 25 meters long, which is rare at resorts (albeit not good for sport swimmers as it was too warm). They don’t use chlorine but something else, more pleasant. Spotless public washrooms. There are parking places by each building, which is rather convenient for guests with cars. In my opinion, renting a car in Bonaire is a must. The beach There is sand, nice lounge chairs, enough shade, drink and food service, but beach entry into the sea is coral, better wear some shoes. We used the peer to get right into the deep water, and then swam/snorkeled around. Plenty of fish, however, there are better reefs in other parts of the island. We managed to spot a small octopus, couple of sting rays and a turtle. There is a very good and large gym, air conditioned, we used it a bit for Pilates. Rooms We stayed in a budget studio, it was clean and comfortable. The small kitchenette was a big deal, we used it a lot. I personally liked the quality of construction - they went for good materials, and did good job. Room service daily, helps given lot of sand around. Quiet and efficient AC, comfy bedding. A bit annoying was cutlery. Two knives, two forks, two spoons… Dutch efficiency, I guess. Having four of everything

We recently stayed at Delfin's for a week as part of our honeymoon. We were treated with a nice bottle of Cava for the room and rose petals on the bed. The property is beautiful and the staff (reception and all restaurants) were incredibly friendly. There were great dining options on the property and many others in close promixity by car. There was never an issue finding any beach chairs/beds during the day and Delfins provided high quality beach towels, which could be refreshed each day. The only small complaint is the shower and toilet are in the same area to maximize space in the room, but the resort provides a squeegie to clean up after you shower. Overall, its a beautiful resort with gorgeous grounds. We cannot wait to return to Bonaire and would highly recommend Delfins!

The area is beautiful. However the place needs upgrading , the furniture in the common areas in your room is like outdoor patio furniture. It’s not comfortable to hang out and relax. The ceiling fans are not powerful enough to give off a nice breeze there is no cross ventilation. Windows on one side. The house keeping does the bare minimum. Changes your towels makes your bed. The tile floors were not swept well. We always had sand on our feet. Surfaces were not wiped. Bar service is slow anywhere we ate or drank, Except Senage. Our room B04 is right behind the kids pool we paid extra for outside seating. For the extra not worth the hassle and noise. There is a lot of construction going on around and near the facility. Note rent a 4 wheel drive jeep or truck because the roads are not all paved and narrow. Plus you need one if you want to visit the national park. Don’t make the mistake and eat the oysters my husband was sick for two days. Which sucked because we were not able to have our 35th anniversary dinner. Plans cancelled. Bonaire is beautiful drive to the beaches there are many. Snorkeling and diving is great. Food is expensive anywhere you go.

Nice property…rooms are pretty basic but we just had a studio suite looking at the gym…no housekeeping on Sundays…beach area nice…rocky to get into ocean but they have a pier to use the water is beautiful. We found the service alright…nobody was really in a panic to serve you but that was ok…and bring bug repellent there’s lots there!! Had lots of bites big and small.

The place is very beautiful, right on the ocean and our room, just a studio, was very modern, spaceous and had a kitchenette. There is a long dock with very stable stairs to allow for easy access to the water on an island with rocky shores. We ate oceanside at the casual restaurant and treated ourselves to the tasting menu at the Brass Boer which was an incredible experience.

We just stayed one night and we arrived around 6pm and check out next day at 11am but the short time we spent here I was very surprised with the resort and for sure I’ll come back for a longer stay. The gym is amazing and the Tropicana restaurant fabulous.

The Delfin two-bedroom apartment was an excellent fit for our quick trip to Bonaire. The place was large, with amenities such as a full kitchen, a large living/dining room, and a balcony. It is located adjacent to two pools, multiple restaurants, and the beach. The pace of this island is a little slower than Aruba but it was a welcome break. Being there over New Year's was a delight as we got to experience the wild and unexpected fireworks every night.

We loved the convenience of having to stay at a beautiful property with great dining options but the option to cook in our room too. We were shore diving all week and the convenience of having a dive shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff was a huge factor in our decision to stay here as well. This was our second but not last stay here at Delfins!

We had a wonderful stay at Delfins overall. The lobby area is lovely, accesses were easy and easy to find. The hotel provided beach towels welcome wine and cleaned the rooms regularly. The views from the beach and one of the restaurants are amazing and chairs very comfortable. Pools were lovely. Rooms were spacious in the 2 bedroom apartment. The staff at Dive Friends were kind and helpful, and we had a great experience in an assortment of dives. The biggest disappointment was that we had booked an ocean view room and from the picture it looked unobstructed when in reality it was on the ocean side of a building with a view of other buildings. The location is an easy access to town by car. We would have liked to have some more simple fare somewhere on premises but it was nice to have a kitchenette.

- Check in was horrible. Our bags were not dropped off for us upon arrival nor did we receive any help or assistance to our building. We were assigned to building E which is a little farther in the resort and was hard to locate so we end spent about 15 minutes trying to locate our apartment all while carrying our heavy luggages in the hot sun. -The place was very clean at all times but we booked the deluxe studio and was given a room with the toilet in the same please as the shower which was weird because each time we took a shower, the toilet would be drenched. - When we arrived, we were really hungry so we decided to grab a bite on the property. The experience wasn’t great. On top of it being overpriced, the staff were not attentive and we had to wave and flag them down for everything. The food portions were small with the exception or their burger. The only thing tasty were the fries. - since our food options were very limited we did go back to the restaurant and we had Rick be our server. He was great we just wish we got the same experience each time we went.

The expanse of the resort, how laid back it was & the immense size & style of pools were impressive as were the efficency & friendliness of all of the staff. Unfortunately the fine food restaurant was always fully reserved. The Brass Boer restaurant was quite good. The Senag was so so. We plan on annually returning.

Dive Friends on site is a definite bonus for divers. Being able to store your dive gear at Dive Friends was very convenient. Nice selection of restaurants on site was very nice. Easy entrance to the Delfins dive site was excellent. very nice resort. Would stay there again.

My husband and I came for 11 days for an anniversary dive trip. His scuba suit was stolen from our back porch, outside our sliding glass doors. We told the front desk manager and there was no action taken. The service at the bar/restaurants was awful with one particular waitress as well as her incredible rude attitude consistently during our stay. This is during the slow season. The bathroom was awful, with the shower raining down on the toilet without separation. There was no outlet in the bathroom, or in any place near a mirror. It was so dark and difficult to find a place to plug in a flat iron to fix your hair or put on makeup. There was no hair dryer in the room, or iron to touch up a shirt or pants. I asked about the hair dryer at the desk about half way into the trip and they gave me one to use for the rest of the stay. There was NO hot water in the shower. It was tepid/ barely warm for showers! Awful! We do not recommend Delfin's to anyone who wants a decent vacation. We wait all year to take a nice vacation. I will do better research next time. We were told there was a QR code that I should have received in an email, which was to be used around the bars and restaurants during our trip. There was a "glitch" in the system which prevented us from getting one. EVERY time we went to a bar or restaurant we had to explain why we didn't have one and when it was supposed to be fixed, it wasn't. AWFUL!

Beautiful location with great rooms. They provide 2 women who will book excursions who are awesome. They know the island and tailor to your needs. You can snorkel right off the beach there, but there are better locations on the island. Only downside is that for dinner, the two good restaurants were completely booked the whole week, so we had to eat at the snack bar or take a taxi somewhere. Staff are all helpful and very polite. Very clean place. Lots of shaded sitting areas at the beach and pool.

Delfins resort was amazing. About 5 days before arriving we received an email upgrading our room from a 2 bed to 4 bed villa due to some construction. The villa was great. The check in, QR code to pay for food and drinks and the maid service were all top notch. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The pools were awesome with one of them 25 meters for swimming laps. The gym was a club with actual membership. It was very well equipped. The Dive Friends dive shop was outstanding as well. Overall it was a great experience for our family. Definitely would stay here again.

A great facility for the price, and a short drive to downtown. Excellent gym, dive center where you can also rent and go, pools, landscape. From a western perspective, the breakfast was a disappointment, as the coffee shop was closed on two of the three days, and the $25 per person buffet breakfast could have added some American-preferred items, such as plain eggs (vice in a tomato sauce), syrup or honey for the french toast, regular cereal, etc. The breakfast was the only expensive disappointment. Everything else was top notch!
