Koyasan Shukubo Soujiin
"Just know that the futons are only about 10cm deep so not super comfy if used to sleeping on a bed. Room was clean but the carpet on the hallway to the bathroom was really stained. The staff was super kind. Convenient to walk around the little town and the mausoleum."

"Beautiful hotel, the monks attending are really nice, definitely go to the morning ceremony, it is worth it. This is near everything and very centric to all the landmarks nearby. "We enjoyed our stay at the temple. We booked a superior room with the futon which I now know means sleeping on the floor. I would recommend getting a bed for those with aches and pains because it’s very uncomfortable on the floor - you will not get good sleep. The temple itself is very beautiful. ..."

"The nearest dining place is 30mins drive and there's nothing to eat in the hotel tho there's a restaurant in the hotel but it's not open. We have to clear our own trash. Staff do not speak english.bed is hard and pillow to thin and soft."
