"The building is very old and smells bad. The room was a smoking room before they made it non-smoking. It smelled. The bathroom was old but clean. The window was sanded glass so it was not possible to check the weather from the room, one had to go outside to check it. The lack of coin laundry is definitely ..."

American's Should only Use the Monterey Hotels
"For Japanese standards the room is spacious. I tried many other hotels in Japan and American's should probably only use Monterey Hotels which are throughout Japan for the comforts we are used to and reasonably priced. However very disappointed in the hot springs. Not only here but throughout Japan. ..."
