My first room (#103) was dark and dingy. And, there was a cockroach. They moved me, somewhat grudgingly, to a different room, which was much nicer and brighter and felt cleaner.
The staff were okay, I wouldn’t say they were friendly but they were helpful.
I very much enjoyed the breakfast they provided. The location is convenient, you can walk to most of the attractions within 20 minutes.
But honestly, now that I have been around the city, there are other similar hotels in prettier areas. This hotel is on the main road so there is a lot of traffic around.

Great location and fantastic staff! Our room had the perfect balance of historic charm and updated modern conveniences. Very clean, welcoming, and the location was very convenient being adjacent to the Acropolis main entrance and museum, and also within easy walking distance to Plaka, the Agora, and the rest of the historic Athens core.
