"This was our first visit to Akçay. The hotel was very nice - clean, amazing breakfast and the swimming pool area is perfect. I suspect the property is a bit older but they have kept it up to date nicely. There was a problem with the drain from the air conditioner, but i handled it myself and it was fine. Onsite parking is a big plus, especially as we visited at a very busy time. Would stay again. "

"The family run hotel with staff were very personable, friendly, and service oriented. The rooms are small, clean, and offers basic amenities. It was a true Turkish immersion experience. "As soon as we walked out of the lift to our floor we were hit with a sewerage smell! The air conditioning didn’t work, the fridge didn’t work, it was dirty and then we noticed black mould in the room! We asked for a refund after we left via message and didn’t even get a response! No matter how desperate do not book this absolute nightmare! There are so many lovely places! Stay in Gure’ in a thermal hotel! "
